Contacted by Sutton Ford about the need to bring my vehicle in for a recall reinspection. Never heard of reinspecting recall work. Made an appointment for 8am so I could drop my kid off at school and vehicle in for a recall reinspection. Never heard of reinspecting recall work. Made an appointment for 8am so I could drop my kid off at school and get this done after working all night. I arrived early, went to the service counter and was shuffled off to the quick lube counter with "go down that hall to the 3 desks and ask for jessica". I went and checked in again. I explained I had a 8am appt. They took my key and 20 min later my car was parked outside. There it sat for the nextv2 hr and 45 min until I finally got fed up watching the staff upset everyone on wipers filters and the like. Practically everyone who arrived after me got full service and left. I asked when was I finally going to be taken care of from my 8am appt. I was told that they're ordering parts. I asked how can they order parts when the car is still in the parking lot where they parked it 2 hr 45 mins ago. She said it's not in the building. I pointed and said it's still right there outside. She went to check and after 3 hrs someone finally came out to get it. She apologized but 3 hrs of my time is valuable to me even if it isn't to Sutton Ford. I have bought here before and loyal to Ford as my Dad worked and retired from Ford. This experience left me feeling that if it's not work that the dealer is going to make something off of, you become a second class customer. I am in the market for a replacement vehicle, but this experience leaves me disappointed in Sutton Ford as a whole. The only bright spot was the technician who was friendly and worked to get the inspection finished in a timely manner. More
