After I got the truck home. I had to put a gallon of washer fluid in the tank. Checked the break fluid, it was under the low line. Added break fluid to the correct height. The antifreeze fluid was at the low point. Brought that up to spec. There was a tag that said you did an oil change on my windshield, I am positive it was ever done since the oil was really dirty and black when I checked it. I have been changing my own oil for 50 years so I know what it looks like when it’s dirty. I did an oil change myself so I know when it was done and what oil was used. They oil life gauge on the truck said 75%. What a joke. At least now I can start maintaining the vehicle myself and know it is done right. This truck when in my possession will never go over 5k miles on an oil change. You deleted all the work that was done on the truck through the app. When I first got the app I looked to see what was done on the truck for service and I saw the records. Went to add what I did and all the records were gone.

Hi Scott, we are sorry for your experience and appreciate your business. We too are surprised at how much parts and labor have increased in the past few years. It was a big decision for us to raise our prices so we used a third party company to shop 15 different oil change businesses in the area. These included quick oil change companies, small independent repair shops and franchise dealerships. We chose this price point as it was on the low end of those 15 while having premium quality synthetic blend oil, OEM filters and a multipoint inspection performed by Ford Certified technicians. For the same price (or more) other shops use regular oil, generic filters and don’t tell you what may be coming for maintenance. Plus you hope that technician had some formal training? Price increases have hit us all in every aspect of life, unfortunately Tenvoorde Ford is not exempt from market conditions.
