I want to start this by saying that I am very pleased with my entire new car buying experience. I came to your dealership originally about 1 1/2 months ago, looking for a used Ford Escape. Ryan Brehm, with my entire new car buying experience. I came to your dealership originally about 1 1/2 months ago, looking for a used Ford Escape. Ryan Brehm, was referred to me by your Assistant Service Manager, I believe his name is Scott Spencer. I work with Mr. Spencer's wife, Tiffany, who also used to work at your dealership. I told Ryan what I was looking for, I told him the financial perimeters and he did his best at finding what I was looking for. I felt like I needed more than what was being offered for my trade in, and we couldn't meet at a price that I thought was reasonable. I told Ryan I would get back with him at a later date. I listed my car on Craigslist and sold it within three weeks or so, and by that time, the Escape that I was interested in was already sold. So, I came up with a new plan of action, contacted Ryan, told him what I was looking for at this point, and within an hour, he called me back and advised me what he had to offer. I had every intention to by a 2011 Escape, however your dealership was out of what I wanted there, and he mentioned the price of, and an estimated price of payments on the vehicle I ended up purchasing. I feel that Ryan went above and beyond to please me as the customer. I have every intention of keeping in touch with Ryan, and referring him whatever business I can. He was very courteous, polite, kind, and best of all to me, He was NOT, "PUSHY" or "SUGGESTIVE". I hate salesman that are like that. I've several a few in my time. Without being told, I would have guessed that Ryan Brehm was one of the better salesman that are employed there at Thoroughbred Ford. He has my highest regard. Gilbert made my experience a breeze. I do not like the 7 hours it took to do the deal, but that is par for the course i guess. Overall, i would say Gilbert needs a raise. I worked in dealerships from '67 to '82 and understand how they operate. My son-in-law, grandson, and myself were treated with total respect and dignity by Gilbert an Joe in the showroom! Other customers were also while we were there. They worked a great price made sure we were comfortable while we were there. The interest rate unbelievable, and follow through has been beyond belief. The overall customer service from the intitial greeting to the final sit down when the desision was made on what vehicle, what price, and what accessories where to be purchased was very friendly and pleasa to the final sit down when the desision was made on what vehicle, what price, and what accessories where to be purchased was very friendly and pleasant. The two sales representatives were very accomedating and pleasant to work with. There were no high pressure sales tactics utilized by either sales reps. Conversation involved what would be overall best for our needs as far as warranties and such. I have traded and bought serval Ford products in the last 60 years, and myself and my wife were both very pleased with our lastest purchase from Thoroughbred Ford dealership. I do feel that I will be back in a few months to update my pickup with another newer one, and I will definitely be back to Thoroughbred to do it. My highest regard to your sales staff and Tammy which conducted the follow-up call to my house. I' ve been looking off and on for two years to purchase a new vehicle. It is a very expesive purchase so I wanted to make sure I was ready for the commitment. I have a 2001 Ford Escape and love it. I looked at other makes and models of SUV's and always went back to the Escape. A co-worker recommended Thoroughbred and I'm glad I took their advise. Everyone is very friendly, professional and courteous. My salesman, Ryan Brehn was great. The first time I met with Ryan to drive the new Escape I had a family emergency arise and had to leave. Ryan gave me the space I needed and two weeks later I met with him again and purcased my new 2011 Escape. He took time to answer all my questions and did not presure me in any way. I know I can call him anytime with questions and he will be just a courteous and professional even after the sale. More
