I went back to look again and even though I did not plan to make my decision immediately she was so helpful and the experience was so good I wound up turning my lease in early for another longer lease! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE My husband and I purchased a 2014 Ford Escort from Tom Gill Chevrolet 5 months ago. We were promised a second key which we never received. We did no My husband and I purchased a 2014 Ford Escort from Tom Gill Chevrolet 5 months ago. We were promised a second key which we never received. We did not understand the importance of the second key being there are preset settings on this car. Meaning one of them is a speed regulator. The car cannot go over a certain speed and therefore if a semi-truck in bearing down on you you cannot go over that speed to get out of the way. Seems to me that the key in question should be provided with the car in order to sell it to unsuspecting customers. I was told that if I reminded them about the key 30 - 45 days (which we did request at the time of some other minor repairs) after purchase they would happily provide it to me but since it is 5 months they can no longer honor their original promise and provide us with the key. Since that key is an integral part of the car seems like there should be no question that they provide it. I am waiting for a call back from Mr. Gill since his head man said he would give him a message to call me back. More
