I may have had a unique and hard to coordinate issue with getting some missing components of a new truck purchase (I needed a new key and a speaker), but I was very frustrated with the communication between getting some missing components of a new truck purchase (I needed a new key and a speaker), but I was very frustrated with the communication between the parts dept and the service representatives. I made 1 service appointment (based on a call from a service rep) and then when I brought the truck in I was told the parts were not in. A couple weeks later I called on my own and spoke with a parts representative and was told the parts were in and I should schedule an appointment. When I scheduled the appointment I explained the specific details of my issue, but when I actually dropped the car off I was told again the parts were not in. At my insistence I reexplained the specific scenario and it was all resolved. I like Toyota Direct Service from past experience, but this experience was very frustrating on my part. More

Had windshield wipers installed. I got on the freeway and it was raining my drivers side wiper was falling off. I had to get in the storm and reinstall the wiper.
