We were greeted by sales consultant Roger Thompson, and he took us for a test drive. We signed the papers soon after and drove it home. It was the easiest, most pleasant car buying experience we have ever had. Roger is a great guy, so we took his business card and referred him to my sister, who was looking for a new car. She drove up a few days later and purchased a toyota corolla. She was very pleased with her purchase as well. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. They bend over backwards to make their customers happy, and we greatly appreciate their kindness. More

She was extremely knowledge-able regarding the stock in the store and pricing. We then drove up and met Mike Davis. My husband and he got along famously from the get-go. We went for rides in the two cars that we were interested in, went inside to negotiate (along with a wonderful cup of coffee) and struck upon a fair deal within minutes. We then met Karen Baird, who gave an excellent synopsis of our choices regarding warranty, etc. Mike and Karen beat our pre-approved loan percentage rate and we were given information by Karen in a professional manner. I felt as if I had known the three employees my entire life, and as though they were family. My husband and I have never had a more pleasant, non-pressured experience buying a vehicle in our entire lives. Thank you, Toyota of Charleston, for a great, fun time while buying our perfect choice of vehicles. We love our 2013 FJ and would highly recommend our 3 people, especially Mike Davis. Worth the drive, Excellent Service My wife and I spent a week or so researching cars, specifically Toyota mini vans, and we had gone to the nearest dealer where the responsiveness wasn' My wife and I spent a week or so researching cars, specifically Toyota mini vans, and we had gone to the nearest dealer where the responsiveness wasn't exactly world class. Thus we struck out on the hour long trek to Cleveland, hoping that it was worth the effort. It was. Cars were ready, salesmen were frank ("You can probably do better with a third party product"), everyone was gracious, and for once in my car buying life I didn't want to strangle the "Finance Guy." He was terrific: honest, full of good humor, and he didn't pressure us, just imparted the facts. I have noticed that large company service is usually tested, not when things are going smoothly, but rather when something goes off the rails. This proved to be true at ToC. We had a bit of a mix up on our trade-in, an honest error, but I thought "Oh boy, this will involve the Sales Manager now, or maybe the dreaded "Finance Guy." In the blink of an eye, Lee, our sales rep, uncapped his pen and made things right. It is to the dealer's credit that they empower their salesmen and women in such a way. We drove home with a brand new 2015 Sienna and positively love it. The manual is daunting, but we'll figure it out; that's the price you pay for a high "gadget factor." This van does some amazing things! More

I told him what I was looking for, I test drove it and as I was driving he explained in detail about the features of the car. He was knowledgable about the car and answered all of my questions. After many pushy, sleazy car salesman experiences in Alcoa, TN; I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to work with Lee and negotiate the price at Toyota of Cleveland. He even programmed my cell phone into the car's bluetooth system. Overall, I had an enjoyable car buying experience. The car salesmen here actually give wonderful, thoughtful customer service with no pushy sales tactics. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family. More

I agree with other reviewers..my buying experience six plus years ago was the best ever. Have had all service work done on my Camry with their service dept since. The service work is great..no problems and never a reason to doubt their integrity. But...they really need to polish some of their customer service details. Ex: about a year ago I went up from Chattanooga for my routine service. Got all the way up there and realized I had left my wallet at home. No problem, I actually had my checkbook. Well yes, it was a problem. No one would take my check without ID...which was in my wallet. This after five years of service visits and buying a car through them. Gee. They also need more loaner cars. Went up yesterday to have some unexpected work done, which ended up almost (long story) requiring an overnight stay. But...no loaner cars left. Who wants to call a friend to drive all the way up to Cleveland to pick you up, only to have to do it all over again the next day?? Again, this is a very good dealership but needs to work on some kinks to make it the great dealership it could be. I also get the feeling the cooperation between service/sales/admin is now what it could be. And they definitely need to give their front line employees more flexibility to make decisions regarding customer service. More
