Disappointment, felt treatment and pricing were different than my past experiences. I have purchased 2 previous Rav4s from this dealership and service was outstanding, walked to me in service waiting area, w than my past experiences. I have purchased 2 previous Rav4s from this dealership and service was outstanding, walked to me in service waiting area, walked with me back to my car, parked inside, opened door when I left and thanked me for coming. Cost of oil change around $80. This time, got a phone call (service tech knew I was waiting inside) telling me car was done. When I got to service entrance the service tech was perched on a stool across the room and acknowledged to come to him to pay. I asked where my car was and with his hand pointed outside, in the sun, to my car and said it was out there. Not sure why when other customers were being walked to the two vehicles inside. The cost for the oil change was now close to $100. As I drove home I thought this was the first time I felt unappreciated there. Why? Was it because I didn't purchase this vehicle from them? I wanted to get my vehicle from them and I looked from October 2024 until finally finding this Rav4 in March at another dealership. Do only customers who purchase vehicles from Toyota of Des Moines get the great service and pricing I have experienced in the past? Things felt very different yesterday and it makes me sad. More
