This was a terrible experience from start to finish. I called about 3 times to ask about a 2022 Highlander that was to arrive soon and wanted to put money down right then. However, each time, I was told I called about 3 times to ask about a 2022 Highlander that was to arrive soon and wanted to put money down right then. However, each time, I was told there weren’t any sales representatives available and my information would be passed along and someone would be in touch. Nobody ever got in touch with me, no emails, no calls, nothing. But, when my fiancé called and gave his information he got emails and calls within minutes… The difference in him and I is that he is a man, I am a young lady, and he had a North Carolina number and I have a South Carolina number. We live in Greenville, SC and were willing to drive there immediately. I took the information that was given to my fiancé, called and raised xxxx that after I called right when the opened that day and several times throughout the day I never got a single call back but the “man from North Carolina” that was interested in the car gets a call back IMMEDIATELY is absolutely nothing but discrimination. I was not taken seriously at all by this dealership. It is ran by a bunch of crooks who are greedy and xxxxxx the market right now. I ended up being able to put money down on the vehicle to secure so I could go the following day and see it in person. After being told on the phone that when we got there we could talk numbers and come to an agreement, we drove 2 hours to see and finalized the deal. However, there was no “deal” or “coming to an agreement on numbers,” the head man in charge simply jacked the price of the car from roughly $43k MSRP to roughly $48-49k out the door price including my $1000 payment to secure the car. They wouldn’t budge on anything, they saw how much I was pre-approved for and took advantage of the entire situation. Salesmen like these people are the reason the market is so terrible right now. If I wasn’t in the predicament I am in currently, I wouldn’t be buying a car right now. I wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE. More
Can I give ZERO stars? Decided to give Toyota of North Charlotte another chance after a shady service visit years ago. Shame on me, visit only confirmed my gut feeling that this dealership is only out for Charlotte another chance after a shady service visit years ago. Shame on me, visit only confirmed my gut feeling that this dealership is only out for the money in their pockets. We had visited the dealership to view a 4runner limited (online price on their website $50,522, over $56k on the lot). After conversations with 2 different salesmen "Manager" John Neale came to our table mumbling "We aren't trying to gouge you," rolling his eyes with overhearing my father privately discussing with me the fact that the advertised online price was $6,000 less than the neon green front windshield price on the vehicle. I knew we needed to part ways due to ethics alone with his approach. John did not introduce himself by name, as we would expect a manager to do, but rather made very uncomfortable comments to us about his weight when we said hello to him and commented we were changing ships again as this was now the 3rd person to come speak to us? Bizarre and unprofessional. Cold and uncordial, he then told my father to sit down, who was standing next to his seat, due to it making him feel "uncomfortable". My father, a former Toyota salesman, started questioning John on the price of the vehicle which led to us having to leave due to John's inability to simply empathize with the fact that a price of over $6,000 over advertised is shocking to a consumer and understandably upsetting. Rather than trying to diffuse the negativity their practice had created, John further engaged with hostile and belittling answers, citing the price is a "market upcharge because we aren't selling the amount we used to." He also made it a point to tell us that "somebody will buy that vehicle at full (upcharged) price." Buyer beware! While we understand the basic economic concept of supply and demand, its not ok to lure people in with one price and subsequently demean and belittle their concerns over dishonest pricing practices that only take advantage of those in need of a vehicle. Recently purchased a Toyota highlander. Throughout the sale/purchase process I was never told the registration cost were NOT included in the final purchase price. Never expected this, because I never expe sale/purchase process I was never told the registration cost were NOT included in the final purchase price. Never expected this, because I never experienced this. Seems a very petty way to get additional fees/funds from customers. I would never recommend a business with such deceitful business practices. Shameful practice which needs full disclosure and review. Anthony L. Herndon More

Awesome experience with this dealership and it’s team members. Bought the car over the phone from Vancouver WA. The application was simple, the approval came very quick, got an incredible rate. Flew to N members. Bought the car over the phone from Vancouver WA. The application was simple, the approval came very quick, got an incredible rate. Flew to North Carolina, arrived at the dealership by 5:30 PM, paperwork was ready, signed and was done and gone in less than an hour, absolutely unheard of for a dealership. John the Salesman wad fantastic and extremely helpful, he knew I was flying from a long distance and really took care of me. Highly recommend Toyota of North Charlotte. More

Even though most of us are used to a dealer telling a lie now and then, there is a line that should never be crossed. Toyota of North Charlotte went so far past that line you wouldn't be able to see it anym now and then, there is a line that should never be crossed. Toyota of North Charlotte went so far past that line you wouldn't be able to see it anymore. I confirmed price and availability before heading down there yesterday (a Sunday) but when I got there I discovered not only was the car not there yet but they added $5000 on top of the already high price. I don't understand their motivation in this set of compound lies. Do they really believe the people of NC are that gullible and stupid? Did they expect me to just be okay with going down there for nothing? It seems as if they had a personal vendetta against me but I did nothing to them. This dealer is as pathetic as they come, avoid it like the plague it is. NOTE: This dealer rating site forced me to pick the name of who helped me. I believe I picked the correct name of one of the liars that "helped" me but I cannot be 100% sure. My apologies if I picked the wrong one but I doubt it matters because wasting my time yesterday seemed to be a team effort with no less than 4 people involved. More
Worst experience ever. Waited 7 days and 5 different associates to finally get some numbers to review. They came back with $396 lease payments on a Corolla that was $2700 over the national advertised MS associates to finally get some numbers to review. They came back with $396 lease payments on a Corolla that was $2700 over the national advertised MSRP with $219 payments. They will rip you to shreds with there greedy business tactics. More
Had a service appointment on Friday. When I got to the dealership they didn't have my appointment but would try to work me in. It would be at least 2 hours until I could get in so I left. I was there gett dealership they didn't have my appointment but would try to work me in. It would be at least 2 hours until I could get in so I left. I was there getting service on my wife's car on Wednesday just 2 days before and had made the appointment for my car on Tuesday evening. We are very loyal Toyota customers as we own 2 Toyotas and this was very disappointing. More
