Transmission Issue I had gone to the service department and stated I would like my transmission fluid and filter changed, not flushed and to do an inspection of the driv I had gone to the service department and stated I would like my transmission fluid and filter changed, not flushed and to do an inspection of the driveline(universal joints, carrier bearing, etc.) because I felt a slight chatter upon starting out. After 4 hours and $115.00 the report was handed to me stating The chatter was verified and there is a concern of an internal problem with the transmission. That’s it. Not maybe could be fluid, clutch pack, pressure solenoid, anything. We do not recommend a fluid change, we recommend change the transmission first. My first issue with this is that with all of the diagnostic equipment and techs that should know their vehicles they service and the issues they have been noticing with them I received an answer as vague as it gets. Secondly, telling me I already have a bad transmission but we don’t recommend changing the fluid and filter makes absolutely no sense. If it’s bad just maybe there is a chance it’s just worn or dirty fluid being you had no other idea what it was. So rather than try the few dollar fluid change I should start with a $6,500 transmission change. At the end of my bill I haven’t gotten anywhere, didn’t even get the existing fluid level checked. Ridiculous! My last two trucks were Toyota’s and instead of trying to get me for a tranny job and also me losing all faith in the capabilities to troubleshoot an issue and maybe save the customer some money, at some point you would have got me for 30,000 plus on another truck down the road. More

Service on car Jake was not very friendly. I called for a ride at 755am to pick me up so I could retrieve my car after it was done being serviced and he seemed like Jake was not very friendly. I called for a ride at 755am to pick me up so I could retrieve my car after it was done being serviced and he seemed like he couldn't be bothered answering my call and said there was no one available at the time and seemed like he couldnt even be bothered putting my name on the list so someone would call me back to schedule a pickup. I waited an hour and no one even called to schedule a time! I then called Toyota back and spoke to kacie who was more than kind enough to help me and even offered to have my car dropped off to me. I told her I wanted to cancel my service plans/contracts and get a refund because there just always seems to be a problem anymore but she convinced me to try one more time. More
