Stuff happens ... and then It was Friday night, and we had just finished with our accountant ... our son called us about fifteen minutes into our departure and on his way back t It was Friday night, and we had just finished with our accountant ... our son called us about fifteen minutes into our departure and on his way back to Binghampton, NY. He called and let us know he was stranded in the Yaris just inside Carbondale (he takes the back way to the I-81 North). Surprisingly we were able to secure a tow company (about 7:30 P.M.) and they were not only happy to tow the vehicle to Toyota of Scranton, but to reach out and give them a heads up that the vehicle was incoming. The next day (Saturday) Jason let us know that he wasn't sure he would be able to get the vehicle fixed, but he would really try to help us. Our 2010 Yaris has 170 K+ miles and this was the very first problem we have had. It was the alternator and it completely drained the battery. Long story short ... They had the parts in stock, had a technician who could fix it, and by 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, we drove our repaired Yaris back up to Binghamton, NY so our son could borrow it while his primary vehicle was being worked on. If "stuff happens" to you, there is only one place I would take my vehicle ... Toyota of Scranton. Jason, "Thank you so much" for helping us and getting us back on the road. More
