Not sure service is improving Satisfactory but 2 trips first one wited over 1.5 hours for oil change only. Then waited over 5 days with NO status calls on part coming in. Starting with the Management, both GaryMariarossi, Anthony Burruano and our Salesperson Howard Kent ((who was substituting for Paul LiCausi) was absolutely wonderful. Howard was very patient and informative in taking us for 3 test drives, since I (Pat) was not sure which of the 3 I liked the best. I finally made my decision to Lease the NX 300 yesterday and am very happy with my choice However, when sitting with Steve Kritikos, (he was wonderful), We were quite concerned over LEXUS NEW POLICY (Excess Wear and Use). It seems as if we did not take it, upon returning our new lease car, lots of issues could arise. We have leased from this Dealership 5 Lexus since your dealership has opened, and never had a problem with any damage. It seems it is a new way of collecting more money. We are very disappointed. During the entire lease buyout process he was professional, courteous, and most helpful. I do have an important comment for Lexus though. At every turn of the process, it was emphasized that it was a "new" car purchase, thus the additional doc, dealer, tax, fees etc. Very disappointed with Lexus' practice that it does not deem it necessary on a lease buy out that the vehicle warrants top level detail when being purchased by the original lessee. Would Lexus have put the car out on the sales lot without it going thru the full blown detail for a brand new customer…I think not!. Howard apologized and offered to pay for a better cleaning job out of his own pocket. I would not accept his generous offer. I don't think it's his expense to bear. Lexus should've done it from the outset. I left with the impression had I been a new customer, it would've been different. This practice sure doesn't support your sales force, who's trying so hard to cultivate repeat business. Expected Lexus to value ALL it's customers, both existing and new, not a good look. More
