My car has had trouble starting, suspected battery replacement. It's still under warranty, so I have to bring it here. I called at 2 pm on Saturday to find out if the battery was still covered under warranty. No one in service was available to take the call, was forwarded to an answering machine. Called again an hour later, forwarded to answering machine again. Called again at 4:30, was given the number to the Subaru Roadside Assistance program by an "adviser" and was told it was the direct line to Subaru. Was on hold 32 minutes, only to be told this was a third-party dispatcher for roadside assistance only. Called Subaru back, and the Service Center was closed but they did manage to confirm still under warranty. No information was given about what the actual appointment would entail. Tried to call Monday to make an appointment, couldn't get through. Made one online. When I arrived for my 11:45 appointment, the greeter was too busy checking me off the list to even give me any information. I couldn't tell if I was being helped, if anyone knew I had an appointment... there was no one to ask. Waited ten minutes with the car, went into the office where no one would make eye contact with me. There was literally a service person leaning against the counter, not helping anyone, not looking at me, and only after I waited there for an entire minute did he deem to point at my car and say that someone was helping me now. I was told it would take 1 hr and 45 minutes to fix, I couldn't believe it! No one had mentioned it would take more than the usual 10-30 min to replace a battery, it was mind-blowing. I was there on my lunch break, was late back to work. This is the second time I have received this kind of lack of help when trying to make an appointment. At the checkup before my last, I called to make an appointment and was told it would be a 4-6 hour check-up. I arrived and they told me in person it would be an hour and a half. I had planned and structured my entire day around the original estimate, it was SO frustrating. I would rather someone says "I don't know" than give me all of this false information. Once I started saying I was going to write a poor review, the service person was ready to get me the manager to figure out how to improve service. No one ever offered that help when I was frustrated before, they were just afraid of tarnishing their public image. But people buying a car here should know that the service department communication is baffling. When you start to feel crazy because you just want an honest answer, then you suddenly find you are being gas-lighted by a SERVICE department... they should make you feel heard, and taken care of! Not frustrated and angry and "placated." Once my warranty is up, I will never return here for service. More
IT WAS A PLEASURE!!! Steve Norris was the first salesperson to greet us a week ago when we first visited Tucson Subaru. He spent over 2 hours with us, allowing us to test-drive various models of the Forester; during that time he was courteous and knowledgeable but not stuffy or intimidating. During the following week we had several phone calls and e-mails with Steve, making offers and counter offers and he took these offers promptly to his supervisor (Loren Henry) and keep us in the loop. After a week of "back and forth", we came up with a deal that worked for both Tucson Subaru and for us. On Saturday, we met with Steve and Tim Hanson and got the paperwork taken care of in a timely manner. During the closing of the deal, we didn't feel any pressure to buy any options or accessories and there were no surprises with the final price. I would strongly recommend both Steve Norris and Tucson Subaru to anyone in the market for a fine car from a friendly dealership. More

It was a long day but everyone stuck with the task at hand. Like I stated, it was a very long day. Tucson Subaru stayed with the task at hand and finally was able to come up with a solution. Bob Wilson- Sales Representative did a phenomenal job of explaining and demonstrating the Subaru Outback ' s features and it's inticacies. He has a wealth of knowledge on the Subaru products. Bob has a positive and personable personality. He is patient and took his time. When we took the new Subaru Oitback for a test drive, both my husband and I had an opportunity to drive the Ouback. Not once did we feel rushed.. Curt McHenry -Financial Manager was excellent. Curt was patient and took the time to explain the financial elements. Curt has a great petsonality. He was transparent and honest. Overall our experience at Tucson Subaru was phenomenal. Excellent customer service!! More

They knew deep down that we'd be back and gave us more than enough information about the vehicle than we could have ever dreamed of. He stayed late last night to finish the financials with us. Generally sales are rushing people through, but Chad wasn't in any rush.
