I was looking for 2017 Honda civic, when i contacted sales person via chat box she gave me best prices for 2018 Honda Civic. I stopped by the location, service was really awesome. No wait for sales person to welcome us. From start to end the process was like slitting banana, was very smooth. Sales person, Manager and Financial person all were very professional and very helpful to get my blue bird. Thanks guys, Out of college and taking a big step to purchase brand new car is not that much easy. But you guys made hassle free. Of course I will refer this location for all my friends. My sales person was Roland Gomez, really am very honest he is the best sales person I ever met so far. Professional, helped going beyond and above. One simple example, After delivery we were taking picture with my blue bird, out of nowhere he bought me i-pass mounting sticker. Fantastic buying experience When it came time to purchase a new vehicle, we researched many companies/makes before deciding to buy another Honda. A large part of this decision w When it came time to purchase a new vehicle, we researched many companies/makes before deciding to buy another Honda. A large part of this decision was based on previous experience with Valley Honda's excellent and honest service department, which we had used on many previous occasions, including for work covered by warranty. Simply put, we were scared off by reviews of other nearby dealerships with horror stories of price gouging in the service departments and warranties not being honored (e.g. Hyundai's fake 10-year warranty). Valley Honda's service department is so busy that there is often a line going out the service bay door, leaving very little opportunity or incentive for padding the mechanic hours or for pushing unnecessary work. The service experience is excellent -- they give honest assessments of the condition of various components of the car as well as options for on what time scale future maintenance/repairs might be needed. So regardless of the pros/cons of any particular vehicle make/model, having Valley Honda in the neighborhood ensured that the ownership experience would be much more pleasant. So it was clear that we would be getting another Honda, but from which dealership? The last time we had purchased from Honda of Lisle and had a very pleasant, quick, and no-pressure transaction. Much to our consternation, a week after that purchase, Valley Honda discounted their price to be $500 lower than what we had paid at Lisle. Had they offered that price in our earlier negotiations, we would have gladly saved the money! So this time we were a little more persistent in our negotiations and got a very good price commitment directly from Katy Meyer in sales management. We went in and worked with Dan Pantalone who spent a lot of time going over the details of the vehicle -- an 2018 Accord 2.0T -- with us during the test drive. He did not seem at all impatient or in a hurry to get to the next customer, and there was no pressure to try to force us to make a hasty decision. Instead, he demonstrated the cool new features of the car and patiently answered all of our questions. We made the purchase a couple of days later, and after the deal closed Dan volunteered his own time, staying well after the dealership hours to help us customize the car's radio/entertainment system, pairing it to the iPhones, etc, and giving us a tutorial on the various safety features. People working at Valley Honda appeared to be pleased as punch to be working in such a high quality dealership -- it shows. Katy provided a no-nonsense price quote which was later honored, and Dan was 100% focused on the customer experience. As he said -- why would you treat your customers poorly if you want to stay in business? Valley Honda has found this simple and winning business model, and other nearby dealerships should take notice. More
