Made an appointment for safety recall, Monday Nov. 15., had to make arrangements to work from home. Called Monday around 3pm to check progress and was told that my car still had not been started on. Putting me in a very awkward position with work, having to request to work from home again. I kept following up on the repair on Tuesday the 16th, and my first call to check in was answered but, subsequent calls they had me leave messages for someone to call me with an update but no one ever did. After several attempts to get an update. Nervous that I would get in trouble at work, I called and stayed on hold for 20 minutes, refusing to get off of the phone without an update. At 5:30pm… I finally was told that my car would “probably be done by 6pm”. thankfully, it was done. More
My car needed fixed under after market warranty for a possible o2 censor. The service man was very nice and wonderful to me.. The cars engine was totally replaced by Walker Ford prior to the appointment. The reading showed almost 70,000 miles, but because of the replaced engine it only had approximately 7,000. I did not know that at the time. I received a call stating that my fuel system needed routine maintenance and cleaned. Of course I said go ahead. I was also told that in the very near future I would need new spark plugs etc. Costing over $300.00 It's my understanding that an engine that new should not have needed all that work or spark plugs in the very near future. I honestly feel I was taken advantage of. More
