We tried a website called TrueCar. They sent our contact infor to some dealers they have agreements with. All they did was hassle us and would never talk about real numbers. I researched best Mazda experiences on Long Island and Wantagh rated HIGH. Then I found one of Sales the manager's names and called him direct so I didn't have to play the I'll ask my manager game. I dealt with Phil and he was straight forward, NO BS and right to the point. He found the car we wanted and landed right where a real deal should be. He delivered EVERYTHING he promised with zero hassles. Done Deal and we couldn't be happier! Thank you Phil and Wantagh Mazda. Today is 6 months since we picked up our CX-5 Signature. Sonic Silver! After several poor experiences at other dealers, I can - without doubt - say that driving out to Wantagh Mazda was 110% worth it. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm & hearty welcome. JD is a special man and you would be lucky to meet someone as kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and genuine as he is. Together, JD and Phil not only listened to my needs, wants, and concerns, but also created a personalized experience that went above and beyond what I could ever ask for. Kenny provided top-notch financial service assistance and endless laughs! I want to thank the Wantagh Mazda family for making a seemingly draining task stress-free! Disappointed by my recent experience at Mazda. Upon my arrival, the dealership prided themselves as a “Mom & Pop” family-owned dealership. However, when it came time to discuss a price for the car, the s arrival, the dealership prided themselves as a “Mom & Pop” family-owned dealership. However, when it came time to discuss a price for the car, the sales manager stated that the price would be $1000 ABOVE the MSRP. He refused to negotiate further. I wound up going to Garden City Mazda where I purchased the same exact model for a few hundred dollars UNDER the MSRP. I will not be supporting or recommending Wantagh Mazda in the future after witnessing firsthand their price gouging techniques during this shortage of cars. (Yes, I understand it’s the “manufacturer’s SUGGESTED retail price.” However, I’ve never heard of anyone paying above MSRP for a car.). Beware of this dealership. More

From the moment we walked in to Wantagh Mazda, we were greeted happily by Joseph Bonavita. He welcomed us and thanked us for coming in! He went over everything in a lot of detail and made sure we knew exactly how to use the technology and functions in our bran new Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring Edition! He explained everything start to finish and the transition to a new car was absolutely seamless! We enjoyed his sense of humor and appreciated the laughs! We spent very little time in the actual showroom which was completely surprising to me based on other experiences at other dealerships! It's the people that make a dealership special. Alex Nipas is the service manager at Wantagh Mazda. I purchased a 2018 CX5 from another dealership against my better judgement. When I got a warning on the dash of my 4month old (for me), low mi, certified CX5 I reacted shall we say badly as well. I was close to Wantagh Mazda. I pulled in with no appointment, truth be told semi hysterical. Alex Nipas stepped in and after an initial misunderstanding as to the target of my displeasure he literally came to my rescue. It was a computer problem issuing false messages. He was able to take care of it in time for me to leave on my trip. If it was not for him I never would have made it.
