Energetic, friendly, and knowledgable service. Robby was my service rep. Explained recommended repairs and costs. Part needed to be ordered. Again, Robby respects my time and comfort, gets me a loaner vehicle. Next morning, Robby calls with a cheerful, "Your car is ready." I feel confident as I plan to head out for Thanksgiving. Sharp Honda Service takes good care of my Honda Civic, which most often just needs standard oil changes. I could watch my car in the garage from the customer lounge. I have been impressed with the Sharp Honda experience for many years, and my feeling from this week's service visit is that I got outstanding customer attention and timely, needed, repairs. It was a seamless, positive experience.

Matt Wert is consistently a personable, knowledgable, and a dependable resource for all my car needs and questions. As someone else said, give this guy a raise! Even if he isn't working with you directly, he still acknowledges your presence. It's old-fashioned, feel-good service at O'Neill.

My experience at Honda Of Olathe has been phenomenal. They are so nice and knowledgeable. This is the first time buying a car that I felt completely confident and comfortable and there wasn’t pressure to buy unwanted stuff. We also took our car in for maintenance and they were wonderful to; they even washed our car afterwards! Thank you Honda Of Olathe; you all do great work!

BMW has the worst service department we have ever... - JReichenberger

BMW has the worst service department we have ever experienced. We took our SUV BMW in for yearly service and it came back three days later in WORSE shape that when we brought it in! We have purchased three BMWs in the last 10 years but we will not be doing this again. When I went to pick it up, they had gashed in the back of the car with some type of tool. And then we discovered, after we got home (one hour away, that they hadn't even changed the oil!! Never again...

The reasons I will not buy from Joe Self BMW - Rhonda Wills

I leased a BMW 328i from Joe Self about 8 years ago. I had a continuing problem with the seat belt extender - the seat belt snapped off the extender every time I got in the car and tried to buckle the driver's seat belt. I went back to the dealership time after time (all while the car was under warranty) and the service department told me that it was a design defect that BMW was aware of. The seat belt extender was replaced several times - it worked for a few weeks, then the seat belt began to snap off the extender. The last time I took the car in to be fixed, the service manager told me that it was as good as it was going to get and they would not repair the car again. When the lease expired, I turned the car in and explained that I was very disappointed in the service and response. The manager I talked to at that time was very cold. I next bought a Mini from a Kansas City dealer, and then a BMW X3i from the Kansas City dealership, solely because of my bad customer service experience at Joe Self. When I recently got notice that my BMW was due for yearly service, I called Joe Self BMW dealership since I live in Wichita and asked for an appointment for service. I have to assume that Joe Self BMW is reimbursed by BMW for annual maintenance and Joe Self is not doing the annual maintenance out of the goodness of its heart. I asked for a loaner car since that is one of the advertised "perks" of Joe Self. I was abruptly told that at the direction of Mr. Self, that the dealership would not provide loaner cars to those BMW owners who did not purchase the car from dealership. I love the cars, but the dealership leaves a lot to be desired and will certainly not get my business in the future. Cannot recommend this dealership to anyone.

Not only did the brakes pads they replaced and the strut they fixed start making noises after only a few months, when I got the car back both times something else had been broken on my car and oil and dirty rags were left on the carpet. They owe me a blinker switch!

I have given this rating due to the experience I had with the service manager . When ever you have a dissatisfied customer that responds to you that they will never be back and the response is " good" ......that manager has no people skills whatsoever.

Told us the wrong pick up time twice, didn't call and tell us the car was ready to be picked up like they said, and didn't give us a military discount because an advisor wasn't in at the time.. oh and they close at 6:00 pm not 7:00 pm like the website says. Definitely wouldn't not recommend to anyone.

Terrible --Poor service. Multiple strikes with this dealer. Don't go here. They will be happy to sell you a car for sticker and try to sell you multiple additional packages and warranties. Nitro Fill was a horiffic joke. I took my car to Scholfield 3 or 4 times and eventually had to go somewhere else to have the problem diagnosed and resolved. The dealer referred me to an 800 number and became argumentative when I ask if I could just come in and purchase a tire myself. You have to deal with the warranty company directly. It took multiple phone calls and I evntually just paid for the tire out of my pocket.... at Firestone. My latest and final trip to the shop was for an oil change and rotation. I failed to make an appointment and was turned away for service because it was inconvenient for the shop at 4pm. I barely got the reason for my visit out and was cut off. Funny, I didn't have to make an appointment the previous two times. I've bought two cars here. Wow !!!! I bought locally for service because I drive many miles each month and have a busy schedule. I talked to management who blamed me and said if I hadn't cut off the service guy he might have got me in at their other location across town. It was ok for me to take 30 minutes to drive across town so they could still pocket the costly service. I had someone follow me to drop the car at the East location. Nightmare!! I went to Jiffy Lube and was finished 20 minutes after I pulled in. I would have preferred Honda certified service. Maintenance is extremely important and needs to be timely and reliable.... I have found that this dealer is neither. Draw your own conclusions.
