Their customer service is horrible. Even if your car is under warranty they are gonna say you damaged your vehicle. I'll find another dealership.
Long time customer...never again. Ok, no kid here.... - gtotom66
Long time customer...never again. Ok, no kid here. Almost 72 years old. Bought 20 or more vehicles here. Wife brought her Highlander in without me. They tried to bill her for close to $1900.00 for xxxxxxxx repairs needed. That’s bad enough but they sabotaged her car to make caution lights come on. STAY AWAY especially if you are female! Check my Facebook for xxxxxxxx estimates. I have a copy of everything.
Terrible Customer Service - Lnelson672
This was the worst customer service experience. My car was towed Friday afternoon to the dealership when it would not start. No one called me to confirm my car had arrived, so I started calling Saturday morning at 8am. It wasn't until 3 that afternoon that someone was able to confirm my car was there. I called multiple times during the week to try to get some type of status on my car. No one could ever give me one. No one ever called me back when I left messages. I left at least 2 messages for the service manager to call me back, and he never did. Someone finally called me the next Friday afternoon, a whole week later, to tell me my battery needed to be replaced. Does that really take a week to figure out.

I have used All Star Toyota Alexandria for service since moving to Louisiana. The Toyota Service Department at All Star is by far the most accomodating and professional dealership staff that I have ever dealt with. I will buy my next Toyota from this dealer based on the my experience with the service department and staff. Several months ago I had my tires rotated and the person in the shop did not replace a wheel cover tightly. I did not notice it until the next day, called All Star to see if it my have been left off. With out hesitation or even asking, they assumed responsibility and replaced the wheel cover free of charge -- and they had it in stock. All Star was recommended to me by other Toyota owners who had bad experiences with Toyota dealers in north Louisiana. Each of my visits to All Star for service have been a pleasure. I live in New Orleans and still return to Alexandria for my service. No problem getting in on the weekend.
This dealership "tacks on" a $3.99 "shop fee" on ALL auto... - Ronny
This dealership "tacks on" a $3.99 "shop fee" on ALL auto services they provide. I went in for a website special for a full synthetic oil change for $39.99, with NO mention of an additional $3.99 "shop fee!" (not even in the fine print -- false advertisement!!). That is like a restaurant charging an additional "kitchen fee" on each meal, or maybe if Walmart were to charge a "parking fee" to visit their store. Are you serious? This is getting ridiculous, and is against Better Business Bureau's standards. I imagine that's why Bohn Toyota is not accredited by BBB. Get ready to "bend over" each time you schedule auto service from them. Pretty soon we'll be charged "cement fees" to drive on their premises, or "oxygen fees" for breathing their air while waiting for our autos to be serviced!!
Horrible Service Experience - Wayne Jean
After service was done on my car, I had to bring it back. They did a horrible job. This is a place that takes advantage of people and provides service that is not up to Toyota's standers. Not to mention Ms. Kitty is rude. She started off nice and friendly, the second she realized Courtesy had made a mistake she wanted nothing to do with me.
Going Back for Things not Checked and Repaired - Birgit
The first time a tire sensor went out on my way home on the tire that was changed at the dealership. I went back and after another one and a half hours of waiting was told that they didn't have the sensor in stock. The second time I ended up with oil smudges on my seats. The check sheet had all check marks in the green. When I return to my house and pull up in my driveway a nice gentlemen stopped to tell me that one of my rear break lights wasn't working. So they didn't check my lights either. Now I wonder if they even checked my filters or anything else. Went back and the service manager fixed the break light for free. Yes, my car is 10 years old, but I bought it at this dealership and have been a regular customer for these 10 years. If they don't want to work on it any more they can refuse it. But until then, I expect them be honest on the work they perform, which they are NOT.
Appreciative - Keri74
I had to order a small part for my Camry. When it came in they offered to wait for me to come pick it up even though they were suppose to close at 5:30. I told them that my steering wheel was also shaking when I drove, the parts guy Anthony said he would wait for me so he could look at it when I got there. I got there right at closing time and when he looked at my car ( I had previously been told I needed new brakes) he felt my tires and discovered that my one of my front tires was fixing to blow, wires were exposed on the tire. He told me that he couldn't let me leave there with a tire in that bad of shape and offered to put my spare on. He then priced a new tire and I decided to buy 4 new ones. Even though this was now past the time for them to go home they stayed and put my new tires on. I can't tell yall how thankful I am for all that they did for me. Maybe even saved my life! And they all did it with smiles and no complaints for staying late. So thank you to the Parts and Service dept for putting my safety first!

Stay away from this dishonest crooked dealership!
I signed a 36 month on a 2019 Toyota TRD Sport, John Harvey Toyota in Bossier City LA. I did not know the vehicle had a safety recall or class action lawsuit over a fuel pump issue. Then 6 months into the lease, the truck started sputtering and died on the road. Then at the 9 month mark it started doing it every couple days and dying on the highways, intersections, and on streets. I Took it to dealership for another recall and told Diane and another guy it was unsafe and dying on highways and intersections. She was very rude and condescending and said there was nothing they could do and needed to drive it until it died and wouldn’t start anymore. They said there was no loaner or rental I would get, I would have to figure a replacement out until they figured out how to fix it. They knowingly sent me out in an unsafe vehicle and they knew was dying on highways and intersections. Today it died for good at intersection and had to have it towed to the dealer. I called the dealer, they said it was to late in the day and I’d have to figure out my own transportation, Even though they have a car lot full of cars. 🤯🤬
Then on Monday, they are trying to say it’s fixed but Toyota hasn’t come out with a fix yet, so they are trying to send me away in an unsafe vehicle once again that is stalling out on highways and intersections.
I wish that I’d purchased directly from this dealership.... - Cedric
I wish that I’d purchased directly from this dealership. Though I purchased from Van Trow in Monroe, LA, I prefer to have ALL services performed here. The atmosphere, service and honesty so far have been incredible. There have been hiccups, but the staff did their due diligence in correcting whatever needed correction and solving problems well. My next Toyota will be a Karl Malone Toyota of Ruston purchase.
Totally awesome service - Jademerald74
We have bought several vehicles thru this dealership. Our sales guy, Corey, knows his stuff. He was very helpful in every step of our purchases. The service department has been top notch as well. They are able to get me in and out and make sure everything is taken care of.

I have had better experiences. Took my truck in for an alignment. Scheduled the appointment online. Stated that I needed an alignment. Was offered a 7:00 am time slot but when I got here, I was told the techs don’t start until 8:00. The rep could not have cared less about anything having to do with me or my vehicle. Just a Luke warm body. I also noticed that the dealership has almost no inventory. The only reason I came here was because it is the closest service center to my house. I should have driven a little farther to Slidell.
