Yes! - DJ
Yes!! Choose Garrett in Livonia.
This was my first time buying my own vehicle! Long story short, I’m 58 with credit in the 600’s, Garrett R. promised he would get me in a car at the price I requested. HE DID! More than that, he approached me and my situation with no judgment! As long as Garrett sells cars, he’s my guy! Thank You Garrett! Tell your momma thank you as well, she did a great job raising you!
Deployed service member here. My wife took her 6 year old... - Jere.Ross.1102
Deployed service member here. My wife took her 6 year old CC there for some recalls and next thing you know had a list of $17K of repairs that would be needed. She sent me the list and most of what was on the list were thing that had already done with preventative maintenance (air filters, tire rotations/alignments, etc.). So apparently the business practice is to come up with a list of xxxxxxxx to either get people to pay a ridiculous amount for stuff that doesn't need to be fixed, or force them into a sense of panic so they buy a new car. Sad bunch of slime xxxxx that cant seem to break the stereotype of dealership maintenance.

Bryan was the best. He listened to my requests and limitations about buying a new car. His knowledge of the cars, financing and State requirements was a confidence builder. I am very pleased with all .
I have been a client for 25 years. - carderburns11
I have been a client for 25 years. There service is amazing! They are always asking what else they can help! I got stuck up North at another facility for a repair, and had forgot how horrible and uncaring service people can be.
Falsify Car Inventory Online to get Customers to Engage - BrettVeen
This dealership falsifies their inventory in order to get people interested and to inquire about cars they don't actually have available. They pull a bait and switch. Now they have my contact information and are calling me non-stop when they don't have the cars I am actually interested in. Isn't this false advertising? Maybe I need to find a lawyer.
9 months ago my husband and I were looking for a reliable... - Kim S
9 months ago my husband and I were looking for a reliable used vehicle for my son for college. Bill Gezon came out to greet us, and we told him we wanted a very reliable vehicle for his 4 years of school. He said he had just the car for us, a 2013 VW Tiguan, just turned in by an older couple who took excellent care of the vehicle. He said they would run it through an in depth inspection and when done he told us it was all good! He also told our son that it would last him well beyond the 4 years of college if he took good care of it. We were sold, hook line and sinker, literally. Within 6 months, even before the first oil change was due, the cars brakes went out… there was very little when you pressed on the brakes. That was a costly repair. Then, within the next three months, the cars engine started jerking and the engine light came on. We again took it back and found out the spark plugs and coil packs had to be replaced for another $750 AND the turbo booster was shot and it would cost us another $2700. Additionally they indicated we had broken coil springs and had to replace entire front suspension. They also printed up a list of things they suggested we needed to repair soon. All of this came to over $5000 for a car that we paid $10,000 for just 9 months ago that was supposed to last for years. We asked them to buy it back and we would purchase another vehicle as my son can’t afford these kind of expensive problems while in college. Bill Gezon told us the car is only worth $1,000 from a wholesaler with all the repairs needed and he couldn’t find anyone to take it. He also said their dealership would not even give us that for it, would not buy it back, and would do nothing for us. We bought a supposedly fantastic vehicle, one that Bill couldn’t say enough about, one that he indicated was so reliable and would go 300,000 miles and it turned out to be a huge lemon and there is no accountability from Bill Gezon or management or Gezon motors. His final words were… sometimes that happens with used cars and we aren’t going to do anything further. I would never buy from this dealership again… please beware!
Excellent Sales and Service - boblo
I purchased a 2016 Jetta from Ralph Thayer Volkswagen in January. The sales guy, Jamall Johnson, was easy to work with and not pushy whatsoever. He showed me the cars I wanted to see and answered all my questions. He stood in the freezing weather without complaint and allowed me to test drive multiple cars by myself for as long as I wanted. When it came down to pricing, they were very flexible and I'm happy I made the purchase. This is the second vehicle I purchased from Ralph Thayer and both experiences were phenomenal.
Yesterday I brought my car to Ralph Thayer for the 10k maintenance (oil and tire rotation). I dropped off the car at the service door, signed some papers, and waited in the waiting room. Soon after, Ken Bermen, the service dept guy, went out of his way to sit down with me in the waiting room to discuss the Jetta's maintenance schedule, ways of saving money on future work, etc. The man was honest and the information he shared was valuable. I've had my cars maintenanced by other shops, including Belle Tire, and none compare to the service provided by Ken. Having a car serviced by the dealer is not cheap, but overall I felt my oil change and tire rotation was affordable and I'll be returning to Ralph Thayer for my 20k maintenance.

Used car/online department - Hkosturi
Wow, i just started shopping for a car and I reached out to this dealer to inquire about a 2013 VW Passat. First, it took them a while until they responded. Secondly, when i asked regarding a discrepancy with their listing (they listed the vehicle with 2,000 miles when autocheck states it has over 29,000 miles) they never responded to clarify this discrepancy. This dealer their adds is misleading and customer service sucks - i would never go back or recommend it to anyone.

Had a great experience working with Bernard Saayman at Betten. Listened to all my questions and made car buying process painless. Appreciated how patient he was with me in the process and when I took delivery he was terrific making sure I understood all features on the car. I am certain if I have any issues I can call him and he will be quick to help.
Horrible - Deloise 1
They dont even get half of a star!. I am soooooo upset with this place and I am more disappointed with the people that work there . I had my car towed in on Monday and had an appointment on Tuesday for a diag. I told the lady "my car has coolant in the spark plug holes I may have blown the head gasket....I just had a heater core flush I am not sure if that is what caused the problem". I had checked everything I could before the car got there there was NO knocking of the engine, bearings didnt lock, thick white smoke out of the tailpipe so we kind of ruled out possibility of an engine block crack, but more importantly we constantly checked the oil it was still just oil no foam mixture just oil. Again I had given this information to the lady and told her when I had to call and check on my car that I wanted to know if the head was cracked or the engine block. When I talked to her she said immediately said I needed a new engine and that she was looking up prices and that POSSIBLY the head was cracked or the engine block was cracked. Now isnt that what I already told the lady? She is telling me the exact same thing that I ALREADY told her. So after I told her I wanted to know if the engine block was cracked or the head and she said that she would call me back with more info BEFORE they closed. So like a child I waited by the phone for her call only to have to call her back and find out that everybody left because they were closed. This initiated my first call to John the manager. I had to leave him a voicemail pleading for him to call me back because I felt slighted and I wanted to know about my car. The next day Lexi calls me back and says she was returning my phone call for John the manager because he was in meetings and apologized for her unprofessionalism for not returning the phone call and proceeded to tell me the EXACT same thing she said the day before(which is what I ALREADY told her before the car was worked on) adding in I need a new engine again and being very persistent about it. I asked her things like is the head cracked or the engine block cracked .... why couldn't I replace or refurbish the head. She said based on her "mechanical experience" I needed a new or used engine and to get that information I wanted it would be a $500 job on top of the $200 diag fee. Also readers you remember earlier I told you that I had checked the oil she is now saying the oil was foamy and had coolant in it and I told her that I checked the oil and it wasn't like that before it got to them and I have 4 witnesses to prove that. I find all this ridiculous because I'm still yet to get a diagnosis and they are now holding my car HOSTAGE because I refuse to pay $200 for ABSOLUTELY nothing. They did not give me any information that I already didn't know and that I didn't already tell them. I left a message for the CEO and the person that keeps responding to these low rating reviews. I am scared they are going to sabotage my car because of the back and forth we have been doing especially after reading some of these reviews. I just want my car back and John the manager keeps telling me I cannot have it back until I pay the $200 for the nothing of service that I got and the disrespect from the crew. I wouldn't reccomend this place to my worst enemy i should have ready the reviews before I towed it in, but I thought my car would be safe here because they work on VW vs. taking it to a mechanic that mostly works on American cars. Someone let my betty jetta know I coming to get her and to hold on strong! I am sorry for giving these people permission to pop your hood and violate you by just staring at the engine and making stuff up about you because that is all they did!
Their service department is great and well-priced. ... - mp2dtw
Their service department is great and well-priced. Because the battery was immediately behind the headlight, I took it there to be changed. They charged $15. I'd been charged $60 before. The several things I've had done there, both collision and regular service, have always been done well, before the time promised and at very fair rates.
Why did I buy my car at Suburban (worst ever experience) when I'd had good experiences with Melton Motors? I'll never trust Suburban to touch my car again, despite the fact that I work within 3 miles of them and probably over 25 miles from Melton.
We flew from NYC to Michigan to work with Eric... - kylewayneluck
We flew from NYC to Michigan to work with Eric specifically, and he did not disappoint. He went the extra mile every step of the way to find our exact model in a highly competitive, post-pandemic market. Communication was clear and timely, and as first time car buyers he really looked after us when it came time to do the paperwork. If you’re searching for a fun, honest, and attentive salesperson who will work hard to get you the car of your dreams, then stop your searching, call Serra, and ask for Eric.
