I had a great experience purchasing my new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Lithia of Santa Fe. Marc N. provided outstanding sales service, located the exact vehicle that I wanted (at another dealership in Albuquerque), and made the overall purchase experience a pleasure. Lithia offered very fair value for my trade-in and all management and staff were wonderful to work with and responsive to my questions and needs. Overall I had an outstanding experience. This is the third Grand Cherokee that I have purchased from Lithia. I will do business again with Lithia.

It actually took me a few months to figure out the vehicle that I wanted and to get everything together. I worked with the same sales person who was very understanding and went along with all of my detours. He helped me find a truck that I am very happy with that I probably would not have picked out to start with. The only reason I didn't give five stars was that there wasn't much selection at the time that I visited in used trucks. It was the best experience I have had with buying a vehicle.

The only reason this place is getting two stars instead of one is because we had a good experience with our individual car salesman. I came into this dealership knowing which vehicle I wanted to look at. Drove it, liked it went in to talk numbers. Our salesman began working with us, took numbers back and the financial representative, Brian came out with a worse offer than we had initial started at. He would not explain any of the number he had given, he was vague, rude and had zero desire to earn our business. His final remarks to us were “go buy a vehicle somewhere else”. (Meanwhile this same vehicle was also available at two other locations, so I could do that.) However, what made the whole situation worse is that we had already been assisted by the general manager, Ken, when they were trying to find the vehicle. That being said, When we were told to take our business elsewhere we did, and after the initial shock I called to inform the GM Ken how the situation had unfolded. I wanted to make sure he was aware of the unprofessional actions of his employees. He was already gone but I talked to one of the used car sales managers. He remembered us being there and who we were, and informed me that he or Ken would be calling me the next morning between 10-10:30 to try and resolve the situation. The next day I did not get a call from either. I got a call at 4pm from their online sales, following up on a completely different lead, who I then explained the situation. He informed the manager, and he gave me a call later saying he was supposedly never given the message to call. After he looked into the situation he continued to give me an offer that was not even hitting average numbers. Throughout the entire situation, I did not feel any sincere remorse, and instead got “well that has never happened here before”. All in all, I will be taking my business over to Larry Miller, where we had a FABULOUS experience, and I recommend you all do the same... especially since they tell you to do that anyways!

Oil change. After waiting an hour or so for a simple oil change the service counter girl and told me they could complete the oil change because the drain plug on my oil pan was stripped and couldn't be used and they could sell me a new pan for around $450.00. I knew this wasn't true because I always do my oil changes myself but wasn't able to at this time because of a back injury. If it was stripped it was ruined by the serviceBOY when he drained my oil. It had never leaked oil. I've been maintaining my own vehicles for nearly 60 years and this young girl was snottily telling me about her driving experience and was getting upset that "I was insulting her". I told her I wanted to talk to her Service Manager and when he came out from his desk he argued with me too and since the oil had already been drained he said it couldn't be driven out until it was repaired but would impound it there if I needed time to raise the money for a new pan. To make this short, I told them to put my old plug back into my pan and finish the oil change. He said he couldn't "ethically" do that but I was adamant and he finally agreed to do that if I would sign the invoice to the affect that they held no responsibility for my decision. I did that and Terra exhibited anger toward me as she took me to cash out. My oil pan has never shown any leakage before or after this event. I have to include that many Native Americans have told me of similar aggrevations, rude indifference, and unjustifiable fees with Tate's service. I am not Native. It was obvious that my experience involved the collusion of the service girl, her manager, and his inexperienced mechanic. I think their actions are intentional and should be investigated as a crime. This should be a "0 star" review, but Google has forced me to give 1 star. Written by Andrew, Sophia's husband. I bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (4 door) WillysWheeler edition from Jack Key Chrysler Jeep on Main St. in Las Cruces. This special edition vehicle comes with a variety of special features, including wheels (all black Rubicon wheels), grab handles, upgraded rubber floor mats, and a specific roadside safety/towing kit. When I received the vehicle, NONE of these items were with the vehicle. The grab handles, floor mats, and towing kit were simply gone. The wheels had been replaced with standard Wrangler wheels. I'm very sure that the vehicle was cannibalized by the dealership (particularly the general manager, Chad) and that all of these items were either taken home by the staff or given to buyers of other vehicles to sweeten the pot and make more sales. Additionally, I had to ask for each item individually. Neither Chad nor the salesperson (Suzanne) told me that these items were missing. If I had not been an informed consumer and had not known EXACTLY what should have been included with the vehicle, I would've paid full price for the WillysWheeler package and not received these items (total value of nearly $2,000). That's good old fashioned thievery, folks. I also never received a window sticker for the vehicle, and Suzanne refused to provide a duplicate (she said it would cost the dealership money), which is a violation of federal law. When I asked for the items, they provided the floor mats and grab handles fairly quickly (within a few days). The wheels were obviously the most expensive item, and at first they tried to say that I had bought the vehicle "as is" (totally false; the vehicle was advertised as brand new, and I paid for the full package, no discount). Luckily, they provided me with a "We Owe" letter for the wheels, so they agreed to provide them. After 3 months of stalling and unprofessional behavior (Chad acted as if he was doing me a favor rather than providing me items that I'd already paid for) they eventually ordered the wheels. Even that was done poorly, as I received Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition wheels instead of the "true" WillysWheeler items (the wheels are only different cosmetically, so I accepted them). Obtaining the towing kit was even more of a hassle. Initially, Suzanne gave me a cheaper version of the kit that is designed for a Jeep Cherokee. The kit was labeled "Trailhawk" (a Cherokee variant) and was supplied in a case with a hook that fits into the rear of that vehicle; it didn't even fit my Wrangler. In addition, the kit was a much less heavy duty version than what should have been supplied with my vehicle. I pointed these things out to her, and even provided the MOPAR part number for the correct kit. When my wife showed up at the dealership to exchange the kits, we thought it would be an easy solution. However, Suzanne was extremely rude to her and even accused her of stealing items from the kit! We hadn't even opened the kit (all of the contents were still wrapped in plastic), so this was ridiculous. In addition, even though Suzanne had yelled at my wife and called her a thief, she had the nerve to call me and accuse my wife of being rude. This gives you an idea of just how unprofessional these folks can be. Suzanne also refused to give my wife the new kit, and she (Suzanne) told me that Chad (the general manager) had said that if I wanted the kit, I "could get a lawyer". By this time, I was more than fed up with this dealership and its unprofessional, rude, dishonest, and thieving employees. I called Chrysler's national complaint hotline and explained the situation. The representative was extremely nice and rectified the issue. The next day I went and picked up the towing kit. I did not need my lawyer :). We also had bad experiences with the service dept. The only honest employee there is the parts dept. manager. We will not return and will service our vehicle in Ruidoso rather than support these thieves. Don't buy here!

We received a call from dealership: price, auto and trade in all in agreement We traveled 70 miles spent 5 hours there waiting. We were taken into room with finance person , door was shut. Then we were pressured for 2 hours to purchase extended warranty. In order to get out of room, we agreed. 5 hours for a quick deal. This is new auto, why? You will be sorry if you deal with Jack Key.
