Very good dealership and we even bought a brand new - SteveTR
Very good dealership and we even bought a brand new Crosstrek last year. But, this past Sunday afternoon I dropped my son’s 2017 WRX off to be serviced since it was running poorly. Patrick in the service department was very helpful. He call back and informed me that there was a fuel injection problem and that the radiator had to be replaced due to leaking. He said the parts would have to be ordered and would arrive on Wednesday morning 7/29. I even went to the dealer the morning of the 29th to meet with Patrick and the mechanic assigned to my car to discuss all the issues. The mechanic went over the work that was going to be done and both said my car would be done the afternoon of 7/29. i called Patrick around 4:30 that afternoon to see if the car was done. He apologized and said the mechanic was pulled off working on my car and put on another car and that no work had been done on Wednesday. I asked why would I be pushed off for the work needing to be done and pushed back until Thursday the 30th? Patrick explained he did not know why. My son really needed his car and planned on getting it back on the 29th. I calmly told Patrick I was very unhappy and felt I was not considered an important customer even though all the parts came in the morning of the 29th. I just don’t understand how I could be just pushed back another day without a reason why I was pushed back another day. I asked Patrick why and he didn’t know either. This situation was very concerning and made me wonder if we made the right decision last year when my wife and I bought a brand new Crosstrek. To wrap this up, I appreciate Patrick who tried to help but I believe either the service manager or the mechanics manager need to explain why my WRX was not completed when promised.
