My Car always purrrs because of Vic Bailey - laraxlou
Vic Bailey has been my go to dealer through 3 cars now / my boyfriend 1. With the best salesman around Bernie/ Bernard. I consider him a friend. He is a kind and gentle star of a salesman. He stuck with me through the grueling process of finding a lender. Not to mention his patience wondering throu the lot of cars, they have for sale. I've kept him in my heart eversince. The service dept. is always completely focused on my concern. Completely thorough in mechanics. And Christian in the loan dept is very good at giving you all the facts and literature on your vehicle.
Thank you - Vic Bailey VW!

I am very disappointed with ECVW warranty. Recently the... - WaccamawChief
I am very disappointed with ECVW warranty. Recently the overhead console in my 2020 Tiguan just fell out of its mount. I took it to East Coast VW to have it repaired. Mr. David, in the Service Department, told me that the screw mounts were broken and therefore would not be covered under warranty.
I, a retired mechanic, removed the part and found that all four of the mount holes were broken. I also saw that the screws were over tightened during installation of the part. This was evidenced by the center of the plastic mount holes being thinned and depressed. This is/was the result of the screws being over torqued. when the part was replaced, so I figured that my car would not be an isolated incident. I was correct. I knew I had never pulled or jarred the part. I plainly but respectfully relayed that fact to the service tech.
Anyway, I have purchased two new cars there as well as several used cars, I had my services and repairs done there including tires. I even told several friends and family members abut them because I felt that they were honest and treated me fairly. During my years of being a loyal customer, I have never tried to short change or cheat them out of a single dime and I am not a pauper. I don't worry much about money.
I later found out via the internet that my problem is/was not isolated. As a matter of fact, several of the broken parts are onsite on the net for the same reasons. The parts department of ECVW will start stocking that part, assumably because of the same situation happening to other owners.
Anyway, I can understand their stance but to make such a decision without investigation a conversation, or even a question sets badly with me. I feel as if I ma just considered a liar and a cheat.
They had no reason to assume that I would break the part and try to rook them into paying for it. Maybe it's their system bt they seem to be more concerned about the small cost of repairing the vehicle as the warranty says they will, than returning some of the loyalty I had showed to them. I probably will nit be a ECVW customer any longer. Not because of service but because of what I view as disloyalty.

After $2000. in repairs still came up w/ multiple reasons that they could not repair the car. No apologies or excuses given. Just lies on how its not their fault.
I cant attest for the other dealership, but please save your time and money. Go Elsewhere!
Phil Young made this process a breeze!! - JessB
I just made my second vehicle purchase with Phil Young, over at East Coast Honda in Myrtle Beach. I can honestly say that he and his team are a breath of fresh air when it comes to the whole car buying experience. From start to finish, they were informative, knowledgable, fast and friendly. I would highly recommend Phil Young, Lou Williams, and East Coast Honda, to any family, friends, clients, or anyone who appreciates service at the highest level. Thank you all so much for another great experience! "For a deal, CALL PHIL!"
When I bought my 2013 Honda Accord Sport in 2017, part of... - HowardM
When I bought my 2013 Honda Accord Sport in 2017, part of the purchase agreement was free oil changes for the life of the vehicle (except for the 15,000 mile intervals when it comes as part of a maintenance package, which was supposed to be $100 off the total price). However, when I took my Honda in for it's 115,000 mile check-up I was told that the owner has changed their policy and they no longer give the $100 discount for the 15,000 mile interval check-up & they no longer provide free oil changes at the 5,000 or 10,000 mile intervals. I'd say that's a breach of contract, wouldn't you?
I do agree with some of the other reviewers though, that this incident has no reflection upon the high quality of service provided by their service technicians.
I brought my car into the service department after... - chasf316
I brought my car into the service department after receiving an email regarding scheduled maintenance. The service representative did not explain any details to what services would be made. He only asked if I wished to have tires rotated at an additional cost.
I accepted and instructed him to have the front riverside tire examined as I had noted an odd gash on the tread. After examining, he stated that the belt was comprised, thus it presented a safety hazard, requiring replacement and I would be charged for a new tire because the damaged tire wasn't leaking air. Regardless if this is a VW or tire manufacturer policy does not resolve my dissatisfaction with Stokes VW with this event. This car is a 2020 version and purchased from Stokes less than a year ago, therefore, the tire had less than 18000 miles. Subsequently, I strongly feel that the tire should have been replaced at NO cost to me because it looked more like a defect than road damage. Again regardless, This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from Stokes and expected much more in terms of customer satisfaction from your dealership. Needless to say, I am a very loyal VW customer, however the next VW purchase will be at another representative dealership, unless yours makes restitution. Furthermore, I will post this response on social media.
