The service department has always been top notch! - starplee65

The service department has always been top notch! They never seem to act like you are a bother, like other service departments. They treat you as the reason they exist. They treat you like family. They address you by name, because they know who you are. Don't get me wrong, I like their service department for the experience and professionalism they provide, and the ability to do things right the first time. But, I like the family-feel. Keep up the great work!

I had an excellent experience purchasing a pre-owned - wayfarer49

I had an excellent experience purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from LBJ Chevrolet. Each of the dealership's sales and support staff were knowledgeable and courteous. They patiently answered any questions I had about the vehicle and the buying process. They provided a detailed vehicle history report. I financed the vehicle through my local credit union, and the staff at LBJ provided all the information I needed to expedite the financing process. They helped me find a quality vehicle and made the buying process smooth and hassle-free. Most importantly, they valued me as a customer and provided top-notch service. I am delighted with the truck and the quality buying experience I had at LBJ Chevrolet! I know first-hand that Angel, SJ, and their colleagues at LBJ will treat you right as a customer.

Great communication, explains in detail, takes time with customers/not rushed. Quotes stay within what quoted, no surprises. If something is found unexpectedly during service a call is given and explained/advised and given chance to decide what route to go.

I recently purchased a slightly used 2024 Chevy Colorado - Mterrano

I recently purchased a slightly used 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2 from Sir Walter Chevrolet in Raleigh, NC, and what started as an exciting new truck buy has quickly turned into a nightmare. Less than a month after driving it off the lot, I noticed the engine overheating, and I’ve had to constantly monitor and refill the coolant levels daily just to keep it running safely. I took it to my trusted mechanic, who performed a pressure test and confirmed an upper radiator hose leak. The vehicle is still well under warranty, so I reached out to Sir Walter’s service department expecting a straightforward fix. Instead, they’ve been dragging their feet—insisting I schedule an appointment at their convenience, drop off the truck, and wait for them to “figure it out” whenever they get around to it. No sense of urgency, no loaner vehicle offered, and no willingness to make this right without me jumping through unnecessary hoops. This is unacceptable for a dealership selling certified or warrantied vehicles. Buyers beware: inspect everything thoroughly before signing, and don’t count on prompt post-sale support. I’m posting this in hopes it lights a fire under them to resolve my issue properly, but based on my experience so far, I’d recommend shopping elsewhere for your next Chevy.

On 6/26/2026 around 5:30pm, I visited Capital Chevrolet - mgaines570

On 6/26/2026 around 5:30pm, I visited Capital Chevrolet to see a 2020 BMW 740i listed for $26,799, stock #9C05525B, dealer fees included, listed on Autotrader. I was quickly greeted by Brandon Gonzales, who was friendly and quickly showed me the vehicle, which was just traded on a Corvette and not reconditioned. I expressed interest in purchasing the vehicle. I’ve already driven them, and was ready to buy it outright, but needed to see if it fit in my garage. He explained that it wasn’t ready for me to drive, but I could do all of the paperwork upfront. When it was ready in a couple of days, I could test drive and if I like it, could just take it quickly. I agreed, and he wanted to talk numbers. I said that I would agree to purchase it for what it was listed for on Autotrader, and to verify that the cost was all in with dealer fees. This is where it takes a turn. He took my phone and left for a few minutes to show his manager. He came back with some made up xx story about how he doesn’t know how the Autotrader ad came to be, that he doesn’t know where that pricing came from, and implied that the pricing wasn’t from their team. I told him that you have to pay for an Autotrader ad, so they had to have made it, it doesn’t appear out of thin air. Basically, they said they wouldn’t agree to the price that they advertised the car for, so I left. I understand mistakes happen, but to lie to my face and insult my intelligence is just poor salesmanship, and if they’re willing to lie about making an honest mistake, how can you trust this dealership to do the right thing for the customer? I would have been willing to work with them on price if Brandon had the integrity to admit a mistake, but he lacked the character to do what’s right. Here’s a screenshot of the pricing - even though they claim to not have made the ad, I guarantee it magically will be updated within the next hour.

My husband and I ordered our 2024 Ford Maverick Hybred - pruettg4mh

My husband and I ordered our 2024 Ford Maverick Hybred from Boyd Automotive in July 2023. Throughout the waiting process, Jason kept us informed of the build-status of our vehicle and was very willing to answer our questions. We received delivery of the truck on May 30th. Jason and the team were extremely helpful, made sure everything was just the way we had ordered it, took time to review the truck with us so that driving would be easy. I am the primary driver and just love it! We took off from Durham to Florida for a trip the day after delivery. The truck performed very well then, and has since. I highly recommend Boyd Automotive to anyone looking for a Ford vehicle; in fact, I did recommend to a friend of church already!

Same great service that I used to get, my advisor retired but there new faces and a BRAND NEW facility. Real nice people over there.
