Joey, my Service advisor was so awesome. He kept in contact with me about my experience with the dealership and every step of what was going on with my auto repairs. He did all the foot work with my aftermarket warranty company and saved me thousands in cost . I can’t say thank you enough to this man. Received the Silverado back after a transmission replacement and other services & Joey called me said the truck was ready for pick up but he wouldn’t be there that day so that told me he did this on his personal time . Now I ask who does that anymore ? I can tell you Joey does. He stated the truck was tested and runs like a dream . When I picked it up another gentleman took care of me who was also very nice. He had my truck pulled up to the door and the A/C cooled down in the truck before I stepped into it. Can’t say enough about this Dealerships Service department. He wrote down what we wanted and didnt want, and picked out the perfect fit on the first try! Ham was also a pleasure to work with, he kept the process light and entertaining so we didnt feel so stressed about the process. Ron Jones of Woody Butts Automotive in Warner Robbins, Ga. Is the worst so called "General Manager" I have ever met. My daughter and I drove three hours to buy her a car. When I tried to offer him less than they wanted he got very offensive with me. I went ahead and bought the car because it was what she wanted at a good price. I paid $13,300 cash but owed about $250 of which my daughter used a debt card. The deal was done, the sales lady and gentleman doing the paperwork in finances shook our hands gave us the paperwork and said that we could leave. Less then two miles down the road I am stopped at a red light when I look at my phone, which was on silent, and I have text and messages from Ron Jones verbally abusing me telling he is going to have me arrested for stealing HIS CAR. I call to find out what was wrong and he flew into me about the card being declined I said there was a mistake they must have put the numbers in wrong we would be right back. My daughter stopped and pulled the money off of the exact same card. By this time I was very upset, I'm a very honest person and I just gave you $13,300 in cash and you think I stole a car!? I did not steal a car! I stormed into his office to give him the change that we owed and said my daughter is bringing you cash to pay the rest. When my daughter got there with the cash to pay the balance off he wanted me to apologize to him or else he was not going to let the deal go through... I have a daughter crying her eyes out, he's refusing to sale a car, he is treating me like crap, and all I did was drive three hours to buy a car... He did NOT get the apology he wanted, that's for sure. When I called the main dealership, Woody Butts Chevy, to let them know how the business is being run they didn't seem to care either. They may sell you a car one time, but they will NOT get return business treating people the way we were treated and the way we could see him, Ron Jones, treat his employees the same as he treated us like crap! Do not go to any Woody Butts dealerships!!!

I took my Buick envision Avenir bran new 2923 with 300 miles on it to Nesmith Chevrolet in jesup Georgia because my new tires were shaking. I had two new tires with receipts that I brought with me. Ron Manning the service manager replaced the tires for me and one tire was hopping. Ron manning said he will keep the tire to see if continental would warranty the tire and if they won't I can pick the tire up and get continental to warranty the tire myself. After two weeks I heard nothing. I called the service manager Ron Manning and he told me he would look for the tire he forgot. Then said someone stole the tire. Then said it was picked up by a scape man and ground up. I asked since he lost my tire to replace my tire that I entrusted with him that he lost at Nesmith Chevrolet in jesup Georgia. Manning is the service manager. Ron ignored my request and started hiding from talking to me. I contacted the manager Mike combes and asked that Nesmith Chevrolet in jesup Georgia replace my tire they lost. Mike combes refused to replace my tire and told me to do what I think I need to do they would not replace the tire they lost. As well a rim was bad in my car. Service manager Ron manning ordered a new rim and replaced the rim telling me there was no charge that the car only has 300 miles on it and gm will warranty the rim. I left. Two weeks later Ron manning called me and wanted me to pay 300.00 as my part GM didn't pay for the rim. I said you and manager Mike Combs said I didn't owe anything and Nesmith Chevrolet has a slush fund to pay these costs in case Nesmith makes a mistake. . Ron manning was very persistent trying to get my credit card numbers. I told him I'll call later I caint afford to pay that now . Every day after that employee's of Nesmith Chevrolet called me harassing me to pay the 300.00. After Nesmith got so aggressive basically threatening me I reluctantly paid the 300.00. As I was paying after they got my credit card number they tacked on another 59.00 taking 350.00 from me. Then they went away. I contacted manager Mike Combs. He said it was supposed to be paid out of a slush fund for this purpose because I was told I didn't owe anything. But since I paid he was not refunding anything. As well Mike combs said he was not replacing my tire I have receipt of buying that only had 300 miles on it that the service manager Ron Manning Lost and then refused to ever talk to me again. So I'm out of a 250.00 tire and got harassed and threatened to pay 350.00 for a rim I was told was under warranty for. This conduct 8s not good or professional considering I'm a veteran. Of Iraq and on oxegen and have to walk with crutches. Mr. Nesmith and manager Mike combes put Thier hands on me and prayed for on me in the showroom of Nesmith Chevrolet before I bought two cars from them. Convincing me They were christians and basically manipulated me 8nto buying two cars that ended up having major problems. . I think everyone needs to know how Nesmith Chevrolet acted like Christians praying on me then I buy two cars then they swindle me harass threaten me to pay 350.00 for a rim that I was told I owed nothing and loosing my 259.00 tire then refusing to pay for my tire telling me to do what you have to do then ignoring me. I do not recommend anyone to do buisness with Nesmith Chevrolet. As well manager Mike Combs told me Mr. Nesmith was adding a extra 50,000.00 to the price of sticker on the Corvette price basically to take advantage of others because everyone else is gouging people. Seriously all this is wrong especially when the manager and owner claims to be Christians and manipulate people to buy cars by making others think they are good caring people. In toll you will get taken advantage of and ripped off doing business with Nesmith Chevrolet in jesup Georgia. I suggest going to a different dealership to do business. I was done wrong and ripped off. Lied to and my tire was lost by Nesmith that they refused to replace.

One truck hotshot operator out of Birmingham. This past Tuesday headed north on I-75 about 40 miles south of Perry, GA my new 3500 dashboard lit up and slowed the truck to 62 mph. I called a dealer closer to me at the time and service dept told me because of holiday weekend I could come by but it would be the following week before they could take a look at it. I was pulling a 40 ft trailer with 4 deliveries to make the next day. Found Hamby Chevrolet online and decided to limp to their location. Park out front about 4:15 and go to the service department manager’s office. He was immediately on it. He instructed that we are up against the clock, to pull on to the grassy area in front of the dealership, drop the trailer and bring him the truck asap. I did and into the service area he went with my truck. Determined I was having electrical feedback from either my electronic log or electric trailer brake system. Reset my truck electronics, suggested I get those 2 sources checked when I got back home and had me out the front gate before 5:00. Words escape me to adequately express my gratitude!! I make my living with this truck and being out of commission with a load on my trailer for a week would have severe consequences for me. Next time I need a truck, Hamby gets my business!! Beware! The sales Mgr who allegedly replaced the Shady staff (he said) is a bold, blatent lieing thief! Unscrupulous, lacks morals and ethics, the shadiest I have ever seen! I am repeat customer who has learned from them what I can expect. Dealership staff needs to become educated regarding FTC Trade Regulation Rules along with The Consumer Protection Act and laws. Appreciation of local consumer is non-existant and a deceiving lie.

UPDATE: Mr. Price personally helped out with my issue and resolved it accordingly. I really appreciate that my second experience was way better!! Scheduled an appointment over a month out for service. My vehicles back window is leaking. GMC Sierra 1500. Dropped off my vehicle at 8am for what I thought was an 8:30 appointment. I was sadly mistaken. I didn’t not receive any communication from the service department. Once the time hit about 2:30 in the afternoon, my wife and I were nearby so I stopped in. I asked about an update and was told that they had not even looked at my truck yet. I proceeded to leave to await a phone call. I got that phone call about 30 minutes later. I was then told that they had window assembly would need to be resealed (something that was fairly obvious when I made the appointment over a month ago). Unfortunately they ran out of sealant/solvent because “we have had to do a few of these in the past few weeks.” So not only was I out an entire day at work for absolutely nothing to be done, I now have to take it back in on Monday for it to be fixed because after they didn’t look at it all day and didn’t have the parts to fix it, they made a phone call to another store to source the parts. Something that could have/should have been done in the morning after they should have looked at my truck at the prescribed appointment time. To say I’m disappointed is underselling it. I honestly wanted to trade in that truck right then and go buy another Ford like I had before. Thanks for not much David Carter and whoever the service manager is. I will not be recommending that anyone do business with this dealership. This is my Ted Talk, a disgruntled veteran.

I live about 3 hours away from Hobson in Santa Rosa County, FL, but they had the vehicle I was looking for at a heck of a price. We worked everything out over text and email, I drove up there and got back on the road in a hurry. Even factoring in the drive time, it took less time than my last car purchase did in town. They were able to get better financing than I could get using the lowest local credit union in my area, and handled the tax/tag/title flawlessly, too, which is not always best for out-of-state purchases. Next time I need to buy a car, I'm just going to send Bubba what I'm looking for and wait for him to find it.
