Had a Rockwood mini lite and liked it but it was just too small so we went back and got a bigger one for the family to travel with us. Everyone at the dealership is absolutely wonderful. Went in last Saturday and looked around and ended up going to about 5 more dealerships and just did not feel at home like we did with everyone at Dodd, so we ended up coming right back a couple of days later and finding what we wanted. Wanted to Thank everyone at Dodd for such wonderful customer service but especially wanted to Thank Scott, Arnold and Mike in service for everything they done to make our experience a pleasant one. More

Travel Trailer Purchase My wife and I have been looking to buy a camper for about 3 years and until we visited Dodd RV (Peninsula) we had not found a dealer (or Camper) we we My wife and I have been looking to buy a camper for about 3 years and until we visited Dodd RV (Peninsula) we had not found a dealer (or Camper) we were willing to commit to. Suffice it to say, we have visited many dealers and looked at to many campers to count over that time frame. Our experience started on a rainy day (thunder and lighting) and the sales person (Tina Dew) bravely showed us many campers with a umbrella in her hand trying to keep my wife and my grandson from the rain. I quickly decided we should schedule another visit, which Tina did via email that same day. She had several Travel Trailers ready for us to look at and was very patient with us as we bounced back and forth between campers, often times going back to compare one that we just looked at with our number one and number 2 picks. In the end, we decided on a Tracer Executive 2640RLS. Then the work started. Micheal, Arnold, Gene, Pete and Tom were all ready for us to show up. All loan paper work was ready, the parts department rep walked us through the store and recommended the things we really needed, not what we thought we needed and the Service department had our trailer all hooked up and ready for a very extensive walk through after all the "Other Stuff" was taken care of. Throughout the whole process, Tina continued to check in on us making sure we had cold drinks and anything else we needed to make the process as enjoyable (and that is what it was). I will highly recommend (I already have) that my friends visit Dodd RV (Peninsula) if they are looking at buying a camper. More

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel at home. We were apprehensive and nervous about the purchase as this would be our first travel trailer, but the staff made us comfortable and explained all of our questions in detail. The selection of travel trailers at the Yorktown location was great, but it did make it difficult to choose the perfect one (which is not a bad thing). Thank you to Tina, our sales woman who stayed late and worked hard just for us, as well as a thank you to Jamie, Arnold, and Pete who made the experience well worth while. We've been camping once since the purchase and our family loved it and look forward to many more trips together. Thanks Dodd RV! More

I researched all the RV dealers in my area and due to Dodd RVs excellent reputation, decided I would purchase from them or not purchase at all. Dodd RV exceeded every expectation. Scott Hudgins was extremely patient, answering all our questions with in-depth knowledge. We greatly appreciated Scott's no-pressure and very comfortable style that gave us the space and time to make the decision that best met our needs. Arnold Smith completed the paperwork process very quickly and provided us with additional warranty/optional information to consider. Cyndie gave us a tour of the parts department, pointing out important parts and accessories we had not thought about before. Pete Foertsch conducted our delivery walk-through at our pace, covering everything with patience, and even asked if we wanted to review anything a second time. In America we have lost that, at least I thought so. Dodd RV made me a believer again that there is a true American company out there and they care. They believe in taking care of you and the price does not matter. Dodd started a true and honest business and the Family has continued his legacy. If you are looking for a great honest friendly place to one shop, look around and then buy something great you will enjoy and have a smile on your face, and then Dodd RV is the place. The Bang for the buck is there, the customer care and service is above reproach, clean friendly, honest, fast and willing to go the extra mile. A wonderful RV buying experience We started looking at RVs 2 years ago & liked Dodd then, but time was not right. There was no pressure to buy and Scott was so great in guiding us through the various options. Pete's explanations of the many new (to us) technical issues, which combined with his practical experiences, gave us confidence that we could really do this!!! More
