Instead of the usual 2-3 months, it took almost 8 months for my car to be delivered. No one in upper management ( ie, the sales manager) approached me to explain the reason why (although I'm sure they screw for my car to be delivered. No one in upper management ( ie, the sales manager) approached me to explain the reason why (although I'm sure they screwed up my order). I guess he is not used to dealing with the public. And then to delay things further, I had to wait for them to get 100% proof that I had insurance even though they knew State Farm guarantees coverage for up to two weeks after purchase. I have purchased two other cars in the last four years with no such demand. When one pays cash for a car, the only people who should be concerned about insurance are me, State Farm and the State of Florida. It is a unique and stupid policy for which they could give me no explanation. I will never visit this dealership again. More

This location is the worst experience of bait and switch I’ve ever experienced. Do not expect their word on any trade values or deals to hold. All they are trying to do is get you to the dealership to chang I’ve ever experienced. Do not expect their word on any trade values or deals to hold. All they are trying to do is get you to the dealership to change terms. I submitted a trade valuation directly through their site on Friday. The trade range came back at 3-4k over other offers I had from local dealerships (local did not have the options I was looking for). I received a call within literally seconds saying they would love my car and confirmed the trade value. I asked the agent, Javier, if he was sure the value was right since it was above my other offers. He said absolutely and that this was likely a lower range until they see the car. I said great and was told a salesperson would call me first thing in the morning. The salesperson, Nathan, called and asked about the model I was interested in. He said what I was looking for was in stock. I asked him again to check my trade value in the system. He said, absolutely it says 45-47k, and reiterated that this was likely on the low end until they could see the car. I mentioned again that I’m not local, this trade value was high, and would be spending an entire day coming down for the transaction. I asked for a cost breakdown with the trade and total finance amount. He sent a finance sheet only on the purchase. I said again, I need it broken down with the trade to a final number. He then asked for pictures of the trade. I said I didn’t understand why they needed them if the trade had no issues, but since I was driving a long ways, I sent them over. He says to come on down, everything looks good. I ask again for a cost breakdown with no response. Another day goes by and Nathan texts me that we are “good to go” and it all checks out so drive on down. A couple hours later, I still have not seen a cost breakdown, I ask again, and I’m told I’ll be receiving a call from his manager. No mention of why. A manager calls (I apologize, forget the name) and he says the trade didn’t come through the system so I need to enter it again. I ask why he couldn’t get me a trade appraisal if he has my pictures and all info, he says it’s just a formality. I submit the request again; get the same trade value of 45-47k, text him the screenshot. No word back. I ask Nathan for a cost breakdown for at least the 5th or 6th time and he says it’s all good, come on down. I work to take the time off work and make plans to come down the next day. 2 hours after Nathan calls me and says there’s an issue with the trade. He says they can’t honor the price. I asked how that’s possible since I’ve asked no less than 6 times and even told him the number seemed high. He said he would get with his manager and call me back. Nathan calls me and says there’s an issue and hands me to another manager (sorry, don’t remember his name). This manager says that even though his site has told me 45-47k on 4 occasions, including one they submitted themselves, the best they can do is 35k. Then he says since there have been issues he can get me to 39k. I asked how that could be possible with 4 trade value submissions, 20 pictures, and a direct call from the preowned manager that this only came up now, literally the evening before I’m leaving to drive down. He smugly said it doesn’t matter, that’s what he can do. There is absolutely zero question that this dealership has been planning all along to get me to drive 4 hours to get me to the site before they told me their order was 8-10k less than what I was told over and over on the phone and via text. They wanted to bait and switch me down so that I would be stuck and pressured into accepting the new deal. This service has been an embarrassment. I’m going to escalate this to Lexus but it won’t matter, I’ve for all the texts for reference. Please *please* avoid this dealer. There are many other Lexus dealers. This one does not stand by anything they say and will quite literally say anything to get you on the lot. More

Time to go to social media to share frustration and disgust. Reading the comments of what others write is disconcerting. Credibility of Pembroke Pines near zero. Will not go near Pembroke Pines Lexus again. Won't buy another Lexus, too many other options/cars/sellers with some integrity. More
