I visited Jim Coleman Honda at least four times before deciding on which car I would purchase. I test drove Subaru Forrester, Nissan Rogue, Rogue Sport, and Toyota Rav 4. My first salesman Jonothan Scru deciding on which car I would purchase. I test drove Subaru Forrester, Nissan Rogue, Rogue Sport, and Toyota Rav 4. My first salesman Jonothan Scruggs was wonderful--not high pressure, he explained many of the CR-V features, and emphasized the relationship aspect of dealing with Jim Coleman. On my second visit I began working with Mike Tavenner. He was also extremely nice, and took the time to really understand what I wanted. He was not high pressure, but instead he kept in contact just the right amount of times. He was able to find the car I wanted (features, color), and everything he said proved to be truthful. I also enjoyed interacting with many of the other people at Jim Coleman who were very friendly. I feel like I got a fair price (which didn't change when I completed the sale). Both Jonothan and Mike helped me understand all of the smart (electronic ) features of this car (which I am still learning.) I'm sure they will continue to help me in the weeks to come. More

First of all, I am just wondering why the rating does not have option to pick ZERO star and provide the review. With the current system, they get at least a star which this dealership does not deserve in my have option to pick ZERO star and provide the review. With the current system, they get at least a star which this dealership does not deserve in my opinion. Now, let me share my experience. In short, LIARS, HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL. This dealership is an hour away from my place. With current situation, anyone would want to make sure about the availability and price of the vehicle prior to going to the dealership. After confirming the availability as they had only 1 vehicle with that trim available, the representative mentioned that there is around 2K accessories already installed in the vehicle. Based on this information, we agreed on the price. And the reality started! We were around 15 minutes away and happened to receive a call saying that 2K accessories were NOT installed in the vehicle we were talking about. We reached the dealership to discuss it further. The representative said that they just sold the vehicle which had the accessories. Now, they said they had two same vehicles which was not TRUE as I was keeping a track per their online inventories from 2 weeks before. After discussing with manager, we agreed to the price that was discussed originally with accessories but not the price was same but the vehicle was without accessories. There was not even a penny difference for the price. Even after this hassle, we initiated the paperwork and there was some technical issue (tailgate door) in the vehicle and the representative said that he will have the service technician look at the vehicle to fix the issue. Meanwhile, I filled out the form and the representative came to me saying that since it was Saturday evening, they did not have person who could fix it and they can not sell the new vehicle with this kind of issues as per their policy. He said “BE ASSURED”, the vehicle is on hold for you with the same price and told me to call on Monday. He called me on Monday saying that there is some water damage issue which will take substantial amount of time to fix the vehicle. He said “TRUST ME”, the vehicle is on hold under your name and they are waiting to get this issue fixed. Since he had some planned day off, he will hand over my details to his colleague and someone will reach out to me once the vehicle is ready. It’s been around a month, I did not get any update, so I reached out to the same person and he said he was on vacation again. So he suggested to call the dealership for the same which I did. Now, the vehicle is fixed and they have increased the price by 5K. I talked to the manager and he had the previous paperwork with the price in front of him (which he acknowledged) and he said I do not want to sell the vehicle on the price we committed earlier because he can sell the car to someone else for more price. I acknowledge the business part of it but there is another side to this i.e. Trust building for the customers which this dealership is completely lacking. They can not stay on their words. More

Jon Scruggs was my salesperson and he was awesome. The whole team was great. There was no haggling or surprises. Everything was very transparent. I completed the entire process in about 3 hrs that is the whole team was great. There was no haggling or surprises. Everything was very transparent.
