I had a starter that failed and had it towed to Boucher

I waited for call but there was none. So 3rd day I waited a few hours and then called dealership. Angelo then tells me technician broke bolt off in the process. How is it I wasn't informed of this earlier? By this time I am angry how the communication has been handled. Being ghosted by this dealer and charging 190 dollars an hour is way out of line. So I needed my vehicle to get meds for 92 year old mother and I am her caregiver and the only vehicle I have is sitting in shop with simple task of replacing starter yet because ford doesn't use any type of thread paste to aide a bolt from corrosion it broke with using air tools exhorting to much force and a simple job then turns ugly. I did barely get my suv back at very last minute on Wednesday. I had contacted service manager Alex about this debacle and said he needed to make it right, so he dropped the 198 dollar fee that was part of quote. So I paid 625 dollars for a job quoted at 762. I can say assuredly that the lack of communication and how everything happened, I would never take a vehicle there again or consider buying one either. A brand new grand opening and the worst service I could ever receive.

Jeff, I have my truck back, and Alex of your service department already had removed the $198 inspection fee from my bill because of my complaint. When I asked Alex to breakdown the costs, he told me that the start was 290$ Since I used to live in Hartford and the SUV was purchased at Ewald Ford, I called them while I was waiting and was quoted 260$ on the starter. But when I tried for more kickback, Alex then said that he could charge me for all the hours for the repair on the broken bolt, In which your dealership was the one who broke it. If that would have happened my attorney would have been called and contact 6 would join me to let everyone know of your practices. However, this is no longer just about the money. Your team lied to me about why my vehicle was late, completely ghosted a caregiver stranded without transportation for a 92-year-old mother, and rushed the job so poorly they broke a starter bolt and had to perform unapproved thread modifications to my vehicle's housing. I am not interested in an offline phone chat to help clear your review score. I want a formal, in-person sit-down meeting at your dealership with you, your Service Manager, and the Ford Motor Company Regional Zone Manager to address these severe communication failures and sloppy mechanical practices. Let me know the date your Zone Manager is next in the Milwaukee territory so we can schedule this. Oh and I have the texts from Angelo hard copied as they are time stamped to show when things took place.
