Great experience buying first Mazda / first CPO vehicle Was shopping for a pre-owned CX-5 for my son and after contacting several MA and RI dealers who had cars that "fit the bill", made Flood our first (an Was shopping for a pre-owned CX-5 for my son and after contacting several MA and RI dealers who had cars that "fit the bill", made Flood our first (and last) stop. Anthony and Jason were both extremely professional and easy to deal with. The 2017 CX-5 they had was very clean, well-maintained and priced right. The whole purchase experience (including test drive, agreeing to final price, financing and delivery of the vehicle) was painless and took less than 2 hours. I was extremely pleased with the delivery process for a couple reasons: i) the day we test-drove the vehicle, I noticed some wax residue on the fender trims and a smudge on the headliner, which I asked to have cleaned up before delivery and both items were taken care of, and ii) I requested copies of Flood's service records on the vehicle, all of which were ready and provided at time of delivery. In summary, it was a great buying experience from start to finish and we got a great vehicle at a reasonable price - can't ask for more!! Kudos to Anthony and Jason and the entire Flood team. More

Bad tempered manager This dealership canceled the deal with me the next day after I paid $500 deposit and agreed them to check my credit report. The reasons they said a This dealership canceled the deal with me the next day after I paid $500 deposit and agreed them to check my credit report. The reasons they said are: 1. There is one mistake on my proof of income so that they met problems when applied for auto loan for me. 2. They saw my bad review about them on Google(my original review is attached below) and thought I am not happy. For the first reason, I told them that I am able to pay cash. No need for loan then. For the second reason, I told them I am happy about the deal, especially after I wrote the review. They still wanted to cancel the deal with me, so I believe that the true reason is, they are not happy with my review. I understand they have the right to cancel the deal, I respect that, also they returned the $500 deposit back to me. But I saw their reply to my original review on Google. I just want to point out: 1. My original review is real and objective. The dealership also admitted. We can just leave people judge. 2. They can cancel the deal because they didn't let me sign the purchase contract. What they let me sign is just an intent and an agreement for credit checking, they also didn't give me any copies of those documents. I lacked of experience so I failed to noticed this. I don't know if the dealership forgot to give me or they did it on purpose. 3. I am not a fraud(the dealership replied to my original review saying I am a possible fraud). After Flood Mazda canceled the deal with me, I visited another dealership and bought same model car by cash. It is a lovely 2017 Mazda Grand Touring AWD, the another dealership offered me excellent service and saved me $800 compared to Flood Mazda. So my suggestion is, you can visit Flood Mazda when you want to buy or lease a car. They have an amazing building and an excellent receptionist Jason. Try going with salesman Anthony Deangelis, you will receive perfect service. The finance director Cody is also professional even though he still need to work on his communication skill in complicated situation. But be careful with the General Manager Russell Cunha, you'd better serve him as he is the consumer. Otherwise he will fire you:"You are not my consumer when you are unhappy". And also watch out what you have signed, don't forget asking the copies. I can prove everything I said here. I have the receipt that I bought my new car from another dealership. I have a phone recording when talking to Flood Mazda people(I had asked for their permission before recorded). If Flood Mazda still want to argue with me, I don't mind sending this to Mazda headquarters and Rhode Island consumer protection attorney. Happy New Year! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My original review: The dealer who went test drive with me was cold and not prepared. When I asked him the details of the car, he replied “it is posted on our website, why don’t look at it by yourself?” And many other things that made me feel uncomfortable. Even though I was quite angry, I decided to buy the car because I have visited a couple of dealerships for a month, and I already got tired of this. When I started the buying process, the manager came to me to comfort me. But I refused to talk to him because I was still angry with their service. Then the manager suddenly got angry and yelled to the other dealers “Don’t sell the car to her!” I apologized to him for my ignorance to him. Then he said “Young lady, I gonna teach you a lesson. You drove 1.5 hours here, but I am not going to sell you the car.” Then he left. I ran outside, it was raining, and the manager was starting his car. I stood in front of his car and apologized to him again then he agreed to sell me the car. It was my fault not to reply to the manager’s comforts due to another dealer’s arrogance. But I think the manager still overreacted to their customers. I didn’t say any bad words to him, I just didn’t want to talk to him. So I think he is very unprofessional and arrogant. The other dealers came to comfort me later, they are kind, thank you guys. More
