Mixed experience. I initially found the vehicle online and was promptly contacted by a very friendly and helpful salesperson. They answered all my questions and convi I initially found the vehicle online and was promptly contacted by a very friendly and helpful salesperson. They answered all my questions and convinced me to place a deposit and make the 30-minute drive out to the dealership once the vehicle arrived on-site. That part of the experience was smooth and professional. When I arrived for my appointment, things started to take a turn. I waited 15 minutes for the vehicle to be brought out by the salesprson and while it only took 10 minutes to decide I wanted it, what followed was over 3 hours of negotiation, paperwork, and waiting. The manager worked with me on pricing, and what ultimately convinced me to move forward was a promise to include two years of free service. Unfortunately, I later found out that this was already part of the vehicle’s standard offering — not an added perk as it was made to seem. During financing, there was some confusion over the trade-in value which was quickly resolved, but by the time I had completed the wire transfer and signed most of the documents, I was made aware of the already included 2 year coverage, leaving me in a frustrated state. It would have been difficult to walk away at this point because of the time commitment and imagining the trouble to reverse what was already done. Later that evening, I discovered a mechanical alert through their app. I reached out to the salesperson with no response to this day. The next business day, I had the vehicle checked at another Toyota dealership and was told everything was fine — likely just a setup issue — but the lack of communication added to my frustration. In the end, the experience was disappointing. What started off promising was overshadowed by sales tactics that felt misleading and a lack of transparency that left me questioning the dealership’s integrity. More
