My bank wasn't willing to make a wire transfer over the phone, so I had to finance my pre-approved loan amount, down payment, tax, title and license. On top of this, the vehicle appeared to be clean, but was by no measure clean. It was a Lexus demo so it had close to 5,000 miles. The inside had food stains and crumbs on the console and all kinds of seeds and crumbs in-between the seats. The carpets needed vacuumed, the floormats cleaned and the windows were absolutely filthy. They also refused to change the oil citing Lexus standard maintenance interval of 10k miles. Not exactly an optimal outcome after driving 4 hours to make the purchase. More
