I signed a few obligatory forms, leaving plenty of time for them to instruct me on the new technology, instead of wasting my time. They didn’t pretend to be my new best friends, but were very courteous. They didn’t spew obvious bs, but instead were very professional, knowing the answers to all my questions without excusing themselves to go ask someone. If this is the ‘new guard’, it’s painless.
