Hello, everyone! My name is Bret Hines and I am a Service Advisor who has worked in the automotive industry for 30 years. In June of 2009, I became a part of the Rallye BMW team. Known as a nice, honest, and genuine guy who loves to joke around, but always gets the job done. My customers and co-workers can depend on me to help when needed. I am never pushy and always upfront; only sell our customers what they truly need. Making sure the vehicles of our guests are handled in a timely manner is my priority. A little about myself: I studied at SUNY Farmingdale. Enjoy discussions about muscle cars. I’m a big fan of the New York Rangers. Softball is one of my favorite hobbies. I also like going to car shows – I own a classic 1967 Chevy Chevelle. I have a true passion for helping others, which makes this the perfect career choice for me.

unhappy for the first time after many years i called last week, spoke to your service dept and was told my message would be relayed to the manager and i would receive a call back. nothing. i c i called last week, spoke to your service dept and was told my message would be relayed to the manager and i would receive a call back. nothing. i complained about the replacement key charge. i was told when i dropped the car off that it costs about $300 to replace a key. i was not told $96 to program the key. it that something i could have done with an explanation? but to charge to replace the actual key within the key; $91. that is taking not right. when i asked to replace my lost key, i expected to get my key replaced the way it was given to me when i received my car, programmed and with the inside integrated. i can almost understand the programming charge, but to be charged for the inside hard key. that is part of replacing the key i lost. i was not told, before the service, about the two additional charges. i am not complaining about brett, i am complaining about the process. Turned Nightmare I'm actually shocked looking at theses other reviews. I'm wondering why I didn't receive the courtesy, professionalism & respect that other customers I'm actually shocked looking at theses other reviews. I'm wondering why I didn't receive the courtesy, professionalism & respect that other customers witnessed. Mr. Romano was not my adviser at all. My adviser Bret called me & let me know my vehicle was ready for pick-up so when I got off I headed over to Rallye. When I arrived I paid for the service & was told that my vehicle would be arriving in the bay shortly. After about 10 mins of waiting on my vehicle I noticed others that had arrived & paid after me retrieve their vehicles before me. As I mentioned earlier, Bret said my car was ready, so what was the hold up. I then went outside to the bay where the porters were and asked why my car was taking so long. After 3 different employees checked for my ticket number on my paperwork I was still left standing there with no vehicle in sight. Now, I'm worried. Nearly a half hour passed and I noticed that I was the only person still waiting. Frustration settled in. I went back inside obviously upset and asked the women who took my payment what was going on with my car, why hasn't it arrived. That's when Mr. Romano approached me and asked to see my paperwork. After I handed it to him he proceeded to tell me I didn't have to yell. I had never said a word to Mr. Romano but this is what he thought would be a proper response to an upset paying customer. I then told him I was just trying to find out what was going on with my truck. Mr' Romano then decided to throw my paperwork in the floor and walk away. The porter then walks up and picks up my paperwork apologizing which was not his fault anyway. He then walked over to the box on the desk and retrieved my car key which the whole time no one had done and this is why my car was never brought to the bay in the first place. I've been a BMW customer for the past 7 years and always thought I would be a lifelong customer. I usually go to Freeport BMW for service since it's closer to my home but since I work in the area I dropped my car off to Rallye to get serviced for the 1st time. I have never been treated in such a way by any employee of BMW and I will NEVER step foot in Rallye for anything EVER again. Now, I'm honestly reconsidering if BMW is even the car for me. This is not the treatment that I pay for!! More
