No help from the parts department In July, I bought a new 2019 Jeep Renegade. Unfortunately, when the car was less than a week old, a rock hit and cracked the windshield. I immediately In July, I bought a new 2019 Jeep Renegade. Unfortunately, when the car was less than a week old, a rock hit and cracked the windshield. I immediately reported it to my insurance company, who approved a whole windshield replacement. It's now December and I still have not received my new windshield. I was originally told that it was on back order, but every time I call the parts department they tell me that it was not ordered through them. Then they will tell me it is back ordered and give me an estimated date. Safelite Reading has been wonderful working with me, but they have had no success in getting the windshield, either. Last week my insurance representative called Jeep Corporate Office and my case was assigned to a case manager. But when she called Savage she was also told that the Jeep had not been ordered from them and "her hands were tied." I just need my windshield fixed before the ice and snow requires me to scrape it, which will no doubt make it even worse. More
