Even though I switched from an Elantra, after 18 years, to a Lexus ES-330, because of Circumstances, I still Go to South Bay Hyundai for Service, even though I live in Alhambra (smile). Doesn't that tell you everything that you need to know (smile)! Service Manager Calvin Jeong is Great! He is Friendly, Professional, Most Knowledgeable, and Fair. I Trust Him Completely, to keep my car running well, only performing what is Necessary, at a very Fair Price (smile). That's All that I ask for. Oil Change, Brake Service, Tire Rotation, and an Alignment for $263.92 (smile). They even threw in a Car Wash (smile). All in the alotted 2- Hour Time Frame! Service Advisor Jeremy was Great too, Friendly and Professional (smile)! THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN, Mr. Calvin Jeong and the Entire Service Dept (smile)! THANK YOU! My appointment was for scheduled oil change and the 15000 miles maintenance. The appointment took longer than anticipated because the service person forgot to let me know that the car was ready. After four h miles maintenance. The appointment took longer than anticipated because the service person forgot to let me know that the car was ready. After four hours I went to look for him an found him chatting with other employees, he said he meant to call me to advise me that the work was done, not good! As part of the 15000 miles maintenance, the offered a complimentary car wash, who ever did the work did not do a thorough job and missed a lot of spots, improvements are needed to your daily operations. More

Car was brought in and covered under my Hyundai Wrap around Warranty, which was purchased at the time vehicle was purchased. During first visit, vehicle was diagnosed. On second visit vehicle was repai around Warranty, which was purchased at the time vehicle was purchased. During first visit, vehicle was diagnosed. On second visit vehicle was repaired, after parts arrived. Service people were very helpful, and courteous during each visit. only problem was that during each visit, the service people promised to call when vehicle was ready for pickup, which they failed to do. Always took in our Santa Fe to get serviced here and never had an issue. After having great service over the years, we decided to buy another vehicle from them. Recently our Santa Fe started to make a w never had an issue. After having great service over the years, we decided to buy another vehicle from them. Recently our Santa Fe started to make a weird noise so we took it in to get diagnosed. Was called and told that the motor needed to be replaced and was told that it was our fault for not having it serviced, which is not true. All service has been done there and they have the records. When I mentioned this to the service department rep, I was told that the Santa Fe wasn't done as often as it should have. Hmmm, I took it in every 4-5k miles and had everything that was recommended done according the mileage on our vehicle, but even with their own recommended mileage service it was our fault? It was only 7 years old, with 76k miles and now the engine needs to be replaced for $11k. When I mentioned the warranty I got every excuse thrown at me and that I need to pay out of pocket. I have lost their trust and unfortunately will no longer buy from here. More
