Carlos is the Service Manager at INFINITI of South Bay and is also one of our longest employed employees – he has been here for 21 years and 6 months, only two others have been here longer. When we inquired about what he likes most about INFINTI of South Bay, Carlos replies; “It’s the employees and the relationships we have together. We are a close-knit team who works well together here and that also enjoys personal time together. We’ve had softball and paintball teams together, we sometimes go fishing together, and we always love to share a meal.” Married for 16 years, Carlos is blessed with five children and two grandchildren - and this is where he spends most of his time. In the little free time he has, Carlos loves taking a ride on his Harley Davidson to feel the wind in his hair, see the passing sights and to just relax and enjoy.

Incomplete diagnostic almost resulted in the car needing to be totaled. When I went back and spoke to the service manager about the poor diagnostic work they did he said they would take another look at it a to be totaled. If I had not challenged to service manager on the work they had not done and many would have the car would have to be totaled since the cost to repair was greater than the value of the car. I brought my car in for service on 8/20 for a regular service with no issues or noise with my vehicle. Left a couple hours later and noticed screeching. I couldn't come back until that Monday. Came back service with no issues or noise with my vehicle. Left a couple hours later and noticed screeching. I couldn't come back until that Monday. Came back and they took it back to look at it. About an hour later I was told by my advisor I needed breaks (which was not recommended when I'd picked my car up on 8/20). I asked what did they do that could have caused my car to start screeching. He then took me over to Carlos (I believe he’s the service manager). Carlos was very dismissive, kind of shrugged and never answered my question, but just kept repeating that I needed brakes and told me all they could do was offer me $100 off of new ones and that was already 'too much'. There was still no explanation or responsibility as to why my car came in with no sound or recommendation of brakes and left with embarrassing screeching noises. Completely unacceptable. I will most definitely not be returning. More
