I started working at Klaben when I was 16 years old, answering phones and filing paperwork. Throughout my high school and college years, I took on various roles at the dealership which helped to expand my knowledge and understanding of the business. I started working in the Finance Department at the age of 23, while completing my MBA at the University of Akron. I had a strong curiosity and interest in Finance, mostly because of my love for working with people and numbers. I worked as a Finance Manager for 19 years, and transitioned to the role of Sales Manager in August 2021. I am proud to work for a company that grounds itself in customer loyalty and satisfaction and have enjoyed the relationships I have built with several of my customers over the years.

Going the Extra Mile I was having a car serviced and went over to the sales department to get some information on new vehicles as my lease was going to be up soon. I was I was having a car serviced and went over to the sales department to get some information on new vehicles as my lease was going to be up soon. I was not even thinking about purchasing a new car that day. Matt Moyers meet me at the door and wanted to show me the cars I had picked up books for. I have health problems and was not sure if I would even be able to get out of the cars I was looking at. He took me around and showed me the cars. Then talked to me about my current lease and told me it would be a great time to change with the rebates and incentives I would be able to get a great deal he was right. During the purchase process a Klaben employee went over and brought my car over from the service department. Matt Moyers went the extra mile for me with the purchase of my new Ford Fusion. I have limited space in my garage when we discovered that the Fusion was 1/2 a foot longer than the current vehicle I was driving Matt had me drive the car to my home to make sure it would fit. Even helped me move things around till I had enough room. This is not my families first purchase from Klaben. This is the first purchase using Matt as my salesperson, but he made the process easy and his willingness to make sure everything was perfect, even it fitting into my garage made it easier for me the complete my purchase. My family will be using Matt for future purchases. More

Great Experience! After being introduced to the service dept they recommended that we talk to the owner Rich when we were ready to purchase another vehicle. I spoke wi After being introduced to the service dept they recommended that we talk to the owner Rich when we were ready to purchase another vehicle. I spoke with Rich directly and he scheduled an appt to meet with a sales person that could help with our situation. Rich set us up with Doug Carter. Doug was great. He listened and helped us put together a solution that worked for our family. He took his time and made the transaction speedy and painless. Much different experience than the long drawn out sales pitch at other dealerships. Dealing with honest people has made this car buying experience very POSITIVE. They are a true team. We will recommend Doug Carter and Klaben to all of our family and friends. More

Smooth Process I was recently in a car accident and my beloved car was totaled as someone pulled out in front of me. I needed to get a new car and the price of a use I was recently in a car accident and my beloved car was totaled as someone pulled out in front of me. I needed to get a new car and the price of a used one would cost as much as a brand new one, so I figured I might as well get the new car instead. My boyfriend and I walked into the dealership with the intention of looking at two 2016 Ford Focus' that were on sale, but it turned out they were sold the night before! I was hesitant on buying a 2017 because of the price. However, Buddy was very patient and helpful with selecting new candidates for me. I ended up loving a red 2017 Ford Focus SEL and Buddy did as much as he could to help fit this car into my price range. My previous car was a well loved 2003 red Ford Focus and I wanted to stick to that make and model. It saved me in my accident and I was extremely sad to see it go because it was my first car as well as a fine tuned vehicle for its age. The 2017 I picked out has everything my previous car didn't have and much more. The car is a lot quieter in the cabin with a smoother ride and features a GPS. This vehicle requires less external devices because everything is pretty much built in. I have to travel and transport clients for my job so this is a nice upgrade from my LX. It's both comfortable and sporty as the "in-between" for the SE and Titanium. I only two complaints with it. 1. Backseat space is smaller and 2. Trunk space opening is shorter than my old Focus. I hope Ford expands those two back to their former sizes in future Focus releases. While this was not my first experience at the Klaben Ford dealership (had a couple of repairs here-wonderful experience), it was my first car purchase ever. I did not feel rushed or pressured to buy a vehicle, otherwise I would not have and left! My boyfriend and his friend have bought their vehicles from this dealership too and I was present for my boyfriend's experience. It has always been pleasant and they tend to be very fair on pricing. You feel taken care of but still see they're running a business. It's not aggressive salesmanship, which I appreciate. More
