I have lived in Pawtucket Rhode Island for over twenty years and I currently drive a Honda Accord. My parents and brother also drive Accords. Great Experience! As a rule buying a car is like getting a root-canal but not this time. What a great experience I had with Cliff Stern at Herb Chambers of Seekonk. Simply stated I found the car I liked, we agreed upon a favorable price, the paperwork was seamless, and the car was delivered on time. Cliff and Herb Chambers Seekonk has my highest recommendation, I found Cliff to be reliable, creditable, and extremely professional…he just knows how to take care of the customer! More

Greatest Experience To-Date! I was recently put in the unfortunate position of having had my car totaled due to a recent storm that swept my area, so I had to start car shopping a I was recently put in the unfortunate position of having had my car totaled due to a recent storm that swept my area, so I had to start car shopping again. I went to quite a few places, driving as far as 2 hours out of my way in search of a Honda, when at last I came to Herb Chambers of Seekonk. From moment one I could tell that Cliff really wanted to help - he was NOT just in it for the money! After discussing the situation, we looked into what I soon realized was going to be the perfect car for me. We took it out for a test-drive, and he already had a GREAT route in mind that would cover all the important aspects one should look into when doing a test-drive (out of all the tests I'd done that day, this was the first time the Sales person seemed to know what they were doing), and it was even a nice, scenic drive, too. As I drove the route, he pointed out the various features and answered all of the questions I'd had - even answering ones I hadn't yet thought of, but were rather important. After leaving, I knew I had to get that car, and it had to be from Cliff. I looked into my finances (and the check I'd gotten from my insurance) and called back to let him know I'd be in Friday to pay for and pick up the car. Once I got there (with the plates/registration/insurance from the previous car), we went over the paperwork, as well as any other questions I'd had, and Cliff set me up with Kevin who helped me go through the settings in the car with me (rather than leaving me to my own devices and hoping for the best) - he even helped me sync my phone to the Bluetooth system in the car. It'd been a while since I'd been in the market for a car, but from beginning to end (when dealing with Herb Chambers) Cliff absolutely made it a wonderful experience, and from the time he became involved Kevin was also very helpful and friendly. I have already passed along my story to my friends and family - as well as anyone that'll listen that may be in the market for a Honda in the near future - recommending that they go to Herb Chambers in Seekonk and, if possible, ask for Cliff. More

Second Time Around This is an update to my post below. (Inserting the remaining "negatives" before I go on with the "positives"). My experience literally got worse; the vehicle ('12 VW Jetta, Black) had issues that had to be addressed in the service department. The management staff did NOT communicate with each other. I was told it was because there "were a lot of people involved". (not my issue). Honestly too much went on for me to write here... (literally... I could go on and on in such great detail). But needless to say, my first purchase was a Lemon, in the sense that there was always SOMETHING (whether with the staff or with the actual vehicle)... and I literally had posession of the vehicle for 2 weeks (minus 2 full days that it was in the shop. Once last week and once this week). I was so disgusted in the lack of communication, and the frustration this first car has caused me... Luckily I had my boyfriend with me through this whole process (which originally all started on 4/22/15), so I have a secondary witness to all that took place. With that being said, I decided to take advantage of Herb Chamber's "30 day exchange policy"... I found a vehicle that I liked even better and exchanged into that. Here is where the positive stuff actually came: Jose Albuquerque (Sales Manager) put me with Cliff Stern (Sales) to discuss a second vehicle. Both these gentleman were excellent. Cliff was by far much more patient, thorough, and spoke to me as an average customer, rather than just some young female buying a car. He made sure he answered any and all questions I had. He went with me for a few test drives in different vehicles. The whole visit was such a REFRESHING breath of air. A sigh of relief. Cliff even came in on his day off to finalize the deal with me on the Toyota (the secondary car that I'm exchanging into). I then dealt with Bill in finance for all the paperwork, and he was also extremely patient and personable. Thank You, Jose, Cliff, Bill, and Scott!!!! You all have done your best to recify all issues to the best of your abilities.(Even if you weren't originally part of the beginning of my ordeal). It is greatly appreciated and I now feel SO MUCH BETTER about this new purchase. More

Very comfortable sales experience In November I brought my 2006 Accord in for servicing and was killing time looking at the new Accord in the showroom; I had been in the market for a n In November I brought my 2006 Accord in for servicing and was killing time looking at the new Accord in the showroom; I had been in the market for a new car but I had never enjoyed the buying experience. I had been just standing around when Cliff Stern passed by and we started to talk about nothing in general, which made me feel very comfortable. I explained that I was looking at the new Accords and the Toyota Avalon. I test drove the four and six cylinder Accords but told him that I was leaning toward the Avalon which I had already test driven at another dealership. Cliff said he could have one sent from their Boston dealership and then told me they had just taken one on trade but hadn't received it in yet, but would be glad to call when it arrived. A week or so later he called with all the information I had asked for about the car and I test drove and purchased it. At no time did Cliff ever make me feel uncomfortable throughout the whole buying experience, nor did he try to sway me toward something else because he didn't have what I wanted in stock. My wife and I both agreed that this was the best car buying experience we have had and attribute it to Cliff. More

Great Experience! After doing months of research online and attending the local auto show I finally made the decision to lease a Honda CR-V. Like most my wife and I were dreading interacting with "the car salesman" but knew we had to visit a dealership. Herb Chambers had the best online presence and was offering the best lease deal at the time. I was comforted in the fact that they were close to my home, had excellent reviews, and carried the Herb Chambers name. Start to finish the experience was great, I think I may have spent a total of 3.5 hours at the dealership, and never once felt as I had in the past when purchasing a vehicle. I worked with Cliff Stern in sales, Paul Zito in financing, and lastly Kevin (missed his last name) who provided a tutorial of my vehicle helping me to understand it better. I look forward to working with the team again! More

Very pleasant buying experience Today we bought our second vehicle from this dealership. Both times we have dealt with the same sales rep-Cliff Stern. It is very easy to see why his desk is crowded with salesperson of the year awards. When you deal with Cliff , he is professional, pleasant and very knowledgeable. We were able to come to an agreement in a short period of time and Cliff did his best to expedite the process of the paperwork. We drove past other Honda dealers to go to this location. We would not have done this if we were not going to deal with Cliff. As we started to drive off in our new van,, I told Cliff I would see him probably in a couple of years. He said he would be there. I will call first to verify this. If he is not there , I might stop at that other dealer that we passed by. More
