We had a stellar experience leasing a new vehicle from them, thanks to our salesman Mike Lipke, our finance manager Matt Douvier, and the branch’s general manager Dan Dingmann. Everyone there was kind, courteous, and professional toward us. Here’s our story. Our car was totaled in a terrible head-on collision and we needed to replace it quickly. While the car was destroyed, the kids and I all walked away from the crash without a single injury. This was thanks to all of our Kia’s amazing safety features that had worked flawlessly, from the airbags and the forward collision assist to the built-in roadside assistance that even called 911 for us. Of course we had to get another Kia. But in the aftermath of that event, the last thing we wanted to do was deal with pushy salespeople and stressful negotiations. So we reached out to Mike Lipke at Luther Kia Bloomington, with whom we had worked before. Buying a car from this Kia dealership is a pleasant experience. First of all, their website is up front about pricing, discounts, and what vehicles they have on the lot. They make it easy to find just the right car, in the color you want, with the features you want, and know roughly what the best price is going to be. Once I had a car in mind, I reached out to Mike Lipke for a quote. As an expert deal hunter, I have no problem going to another vendor if I need to, but the quote I got was fair and very competitive. Mike was accommodating when we needed to set up a time to come in. The dealership is convenient to get to from anywhere in the Twin Cities, with easy access from the highways, and ample parking. Mike Lipke greeted us warmly, handed us the keys and plates to the Stinger, and let us spend as much time test driving it as we wanted. The car looked great and handled perfectly. Mike Lipke is personable, a very good listener, and responsive to our needs. He was patient with our many, many questions. He made the purchasing process as smooth and stress-free as possible. He is knowledgeable about the entire Kia lineup and generous with his time. We felt assured that whatever our specific needs were, Mike would find a way to meet them. (For example, he helped us get the car to our home on his own time.) Once we were done with all the paperwork, we headed over to the finance desk where our finance manager, Matt Douvier, helped us through the rest of the process and helped us make a well-informed decision about what kind of coverage to get – all without being pushy or aggressive. Mike Lipke and the rest of the folks at Luther Bloomington Kia were all courteous, professional, and great at what they do. They inspire confidence in their already-excellent product. I suspect that the pristine condition of the facilities, the smooth purchasing process, and 21st-century mindset of the branch are all thanks to the branch’s general manager, to whom we are also grateful. We wholeheartedly recommend both Mr. Lipke and Luther Bloomington Kia. More

Pretty Neutral Experience I didn't go in to buy a Kia from this dealership, I actually seen a different vehicle that I really wanted that this dealership had on their lot. I e I didn't go in to buy a Kia from this dealership, I actually seen a different vehicle that I really wanted that this dealership had on their lot. I ended up buying this vehicle and had nothing but transmission issues the entire 6 mos I owned it. Kia was gracious enough to take it in and bandage up the transmission for me to no avail. I went in several times to have them put on different parts to the tranny, and finally just popped into the dealership to sit down with the Used Car Manager, Dave. Well what a bad idea that was! He was very short with me, treated me like a "girl" of course who knows nothing about cars, which is totally wrong. I just didn't get any kind of good vibes from him and it just felt like he didn't want me to be wasting his time. So once again, I walked out feeling defeated that my car that I really loved wasn't going to be fixed, only bandaged up again. I finally wrote an email to Dan, the General Manager, and at this point, I must have just been a pain in their butt cause they just wanted me to come in and trade in the vehicle for a different one. I went in and seen that they really only had Kia's in stock to buy, so I drove a couple Kia Sorento's since I needed something comparable to what I had originally purchased. I really wasn't looking to buy a Kia, but felt like I had very few choices at this point. So I ended up having to choose a vehicle over $15,000 more than my original car purchase, pretty much putting a little more burden on my budget, but who cares right? Not their problem as long as I get out of their hair... Don't get me wrong, I do like my new Sorento, but to have to go through all the hassle of car buying like I did, I still have a bad taste in my mouth with them especially when I had to pay them back another $1,500 into my old car in order to trade it back, and put another $3200 down payment on the new car, and to now have to pay double the car payment, something I was not prepared for at all. I'm not normally someone who complains, but if they would have just put in a new transmission in the first place before selling it, no one would have been put in this situation. Long story short... Make sure to get the extended warranty on any vehicle purchased even if it's more out of pocket. Needless to say, Cheri Brotemarkle was very pleasant the entire time and Gabriel Quiroz was very nice in finding me this new vehicle. So life goes on and I will enjoy my new car regardless of what happened, I just hope this never happens to anyone else. More

Found a Gem! I was not expecting to buy a car when I started looking at the inventory at Luther Kia I expected to test drive a few cars figure out what I liked and I was not expecting to buy a car when I started looking at the inventory at Luther Kia I expected to test drive a few cars figure out what I liked and do some more homework. Then I found a hidden gem in their used inventory. Jim Remer was super responsive and helpful in getting things lined up for arrest drives before I arrived. He answered my questions and was very personable! The finance team worked quickly to process all the loan paperwork and Matt answered my questions. There was no hard sales on warranties. It was all clearly outlined and very easy to understand in plain terms. I received a nice message from Dan Dingmann after purchasing my car as well. It was nice to see the follow up from them making sure everything is going okay! I would encourage anyone to check out Luther! More
