Found a Gem! I was not expecting to buy a car when I started looking at the inventory at Luther Kia I expected to test drive a few cars figure out what I liked and I was not expecting to buy a car when I started looking at the inventory at Luther Kia I expected to test drive a few cars figure out what I liked and do some more homework. Then I found a hidden gem in their used inventory. Jim Remer was super responsive and helpful in getting things lined up for arrest drives before I arrived. He answered my questions and was very personable! The finance team worked quickly to process all the loan paperwork and Matt answered my questions. There was no hard sales on warranties. It was all clearly outlined and very easy to understand in plain terms. I received a nice message from Dan Dingmann after purchasing my car as well. It was nice to see the follow up from them making sure everything is going okay! I would encourage anyone to check out Luther! More

Impressed with this Dealer I stoped in with no appointment. It was a Saturday and they were busy. I was interested in a 2018 Kia Optima S I found on their web site and I wanted I stoped in with no appointment. It was a Saturday and they were busy. I was interested in a 2018 Kia Optima S I found on their web site and I wanted to talk to someone in person about it. I was pleasantly surprised with this dealership! The staff was so nice! I ended up working work Mike Lipke in sales. There was no pressuring or games or trickery , just an easy going experience. I really felt Mike and his team members gave me their best from start to finish. It was also nice that the General Manager Dan Dingmann was actually on site and easily accessible to the staff and customers. In the end I ended up buying the car. I could write a review just for Mike (he’s awesome!) but I was so impressed with this dealership as whole I had to say something! I had been to four other Dealers within two weeks of stoping at Luther Kia of Bloomington. There’s just something different about them (in a good way). Thanks so much for a great car buying experience! More

Due to the amazing customer service and overall experience we ended up purchasing the 2017 and a 2019 Kia on the same day. Entire staff is friendly, no pressure, fun and attentive. They are all informative where they need to be. More

Easiest car buying experience ever! We knew what we were looking for, and they were able to find the color and model we wanted. They took care of everything for us. We knew what we were looking for, and they were able to find the color and model we wanted. They took care of everything for us. More

So disappointed that I took the license plate holders off! Do not want to suggest folks go here. I will explain some facts and then how the experience impacted me/us. My first interaction with TJ was me ca Do not want to suggest folks go here. I will explain some facts and then how the experience impacted me/us. My first interaction with TJ was me calling to ask if the Dealership had any 2014 Forte’s that I could drive. He said, yes and he’d be happy to take me out in one. When I arrived at the Dealership TJ stated that there were no 2014; but, many 2015s. *This made me feel deceived and frustrated because I drove to Bloomington specifically to test drive a 2014 as I had test driven several 2015s elsewhere. While I spoke with TJ I told him my biggest concern was driving a Forte in the winter. He explained that he has performance cars he drives in the summer and that he drives a Forte in the winter with no trouble. *When my partner joined me a day later for a test drive TJ explained that he has winter tires on his Forte. Once again this left me feeling like TJ misrepresented what he was saying to me and said something different when it was the two of us. We went in to discuss the trade in of a 2004 MB C240 after having gotten a B.B. value for it. TJ offered us $750, which was thousands of dollars below the blue book value. He said he would be lucky to “recoup costs.” This seemed untrue; but we took him for his word (and have second guessed ourselves many time for it). We spoke with TJ about having upwards of $10,000 to put down if it would make a difference for our interest rate. He said, “No one leaves here unhappy with the interest rate they get.” We then spoke with the finance guy who told us a couple of loan options. We asked him how we could lower the interest rate and he gave us a couple more options. *We feel like we had expressed several times to TJ that we are flexible and want the lowest interest rate possible and that he either did not relay that to the finance person or did and the finance person ignored it. Either was disappointing and frustrating for us. We took the car home after TJ hopped in the car and asked what I would like to be shown. I asked for contacts to be downloaded and asked how to set the driver seat; but, TJ had people waiting for him to take a car for a ride and he said he didn’t really know how to do the chair and did I want him to take time to look it up? I saw the people waiting for him and told him I would figure it out myself. After we got home we realized that the floor mats that had been in the trunk were gone. I called TJ (though I was not thrilled for more interaction) and asked about the mats. He told me I should pick them up right away because he wouldn’t want them to be misplaced if I waited and got them at the same time as my license plates. I went to pick them up and he put them in the trunk. When I got home I went to put them in the car and they were dirty with lots of white discoloration on almost all sides. I then decided to work with Dan, the GM. I explained the above experiences and said that I would like new mats. He told me TJ would order them and then Dan himself would call to let me know when they are available for pick-up. I got a call from TJ regarding this pick-up. *More frustration and disappointment that now the boss was also not carrying through with what he offered though he said all the right things (“You are being heard.” We want to be able to positively impact your experience of the sale.) *We do not feel like either of those things are true. TJ also told me that what looks like two small rust stains on the hatchback were train dust and “should polish right out.” Since I noticed these shortly after I drove off the lot I asked him (and the GM) if they could take care of it. Brought the car to Bloomington and waited. Was led back to my car and TJ said, “I did the best I could. Those aren’t coming out.” *More disappointment and frustration! I also asked TJ for help with the hands free phone, which did not work for me. He tried it several times and got it to work a few of them. I am still having trouble with it and *feel stress and disappointment about the idea of having to call and interact with TJ or Dan again. And, lastly, we paid for a special windshield coating and were told that we would get a call in a week or two to make an appointment. It is June 20 and we have not been called by them yet. Now another call I have to make. *Leaves us feeling quite crappy, anxious, duped, and disappointed about the whole experience. More
