I went for my first 6 month/5000 mile service. My sales person, Stan Kosev, was very helpful. I thought that the first service included an oil and filter change since the first 5000 miles is the t My sales person, Stan Kosev, was very helpful. I thought that the first service included an oil and filter change since the first 5000 miles is the time when the engine gets broken in and there are lots of metal shavings suspended in the oil during this critical time. He informed me that Toyota doesn't do an oil change at that time; Toyota waits until the engine gets 10000 miles on it before changing the oil and filter the first time. Not the dealers fault but Toyota Motor Company may want to visit this issue in the future. More

Lack of attention to detail resulted in my new next oil change sticker reflecting the current mileage. I returned to the dealership after leaving, and when asking the service advisor to correct he essenti change sticker reflecting the current mileage. I returned to the dealership after leaving, and when asking the service advisor to correct he essentially told me I was wrong. He gave me a new sticker, and when I asked him to verify/correct the mileage entered into the computer, he stated he could not do it now but to remind him next time and he will do it. I asked to speak to the person in charge. Spoke with Mgr and he appeared uninterested in my inquiry, left the area and returned with a new sticker (now I have 2). Still am not sure if computer was corrected. I am rapidly losing confidence in this dealership after over 20 years. This is just another incident of no longer being valued as a loyal customer. More
