Our previous salesman, Edward (who has since moved to finance), introduced us to Temi. We were fortunate to work with Temi. Temi was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. He was very patient and answered all of my questions (and I had many). I also appreciated his sense of humor. He gave us time to really check out vehicles and make a solid decision. Questionable Honesty? Communication lacking? On Thursday October 1st, 2018 at about 5pm, I decided to call Hopkins Luther Honda and spoke with Edward.  I asked for a 2018 White Honda Pilot Tourin On Thursday October 1st, 2018 at about 5pm, I decided to call Hopkins Luther Honda and spoke with Edward.  I asked for a 2018 White Honda Pilot Touring trim, the availability,  and pricing since I'm in the market.  I'm told they have them in stock.  I let them know that I've been calling different places to gauge what everyone around the twin cities lists them for.  I've gotten a quote for $43,017.00 out the door (otd) price and gave that to Edward.  Right away he asked me what would it take for me to come in.  In my honest opinion,  I told him if he gives me the car for $41k otd I'll be there right away based on the offers I've received.  He then tells me what about $42k otd?  I respectfully tell him I'll let him know once I call around more places and any still awaiting other offers.  He tells me that he will work with his manager and see what he can do and states he WILL call me back right away.   2 hours later no call back.  Nothing.   At this point I called back and suddenly talk to a Janet which all of a magically rejects even Edward's proposed $42k otd pricing in a rude matter to say the least.  She took it upon herself to reject a given proposal from Edward even though i was not working with her.  She told me she'll have Edward call me back. Almost another 2 hours later,  he calls me back around 8:40pm.  His demeanor changes and suddenly tells me that he can definitely beat $43,017.00 otd but magically rejects his original offer of $42k otd.  He states he'll call me back in the afternoon to check the status.  Guess what?   It is now 6:40pm (22 hrs later and counting).  It's now crickets.  Great communication and honesty so far huh?  I will update this and tell you if they ever call me back and actually fulfill their promises. Fast transaction I got the car I wanted in just 3 days. These guys don't waste your time, they get the work done really fast. Price was even lower than KBB and Edmunds fair prices. Natasha was really helpful even though she was not the consultant I was dealing with, she extended her help beyond working hours and replies immediately to all the questions I got. Matt also sealed my deal really quick. He prepared all the documents for me and we got all the paper works done in an hour. I love working with these people. They value your money, quality and especially your time. More
