MSRP plus taxes for a damaged "New" 2021 Black Jeep Wrangler Willys Unlimited 4x4. Way to embrace the term Stealership. Walked in at 7pm today and notified the front desk my friend and I were in se Wrangler Willys Unlimited 4x4. Way to embrace the term Stealership. Walked in at 7pm today and notified the front desk my friend and I were in search of a Wrangler Willys (helping my friend), they said they had a Black one and had 3 others in Transit to the dealer. We sat down before physically seeing the car, presuming the car was in "Factory New Condition" after seeing it at the Sales Rep Computer and proposed to buy outright Cash and gave our number, Sales Rep Mike Feng declined and we offered a 2nd number at which he stated "May work but he'll discuss it with the Manager." Mike came back with his manager Edwin Diaz who said "My General Manager said all cars are selling at Sticker price or above. Price is staying at 45k plus taxes. Look around on the show room. See for yourself." At this time the Manager Edwin then mentioned the 2021 Black Willys had sustained some body damage from either unloading/transport. Asked if we wished to see the car and that the car is going to the body shop so it wouldn't be ready for today, if we wished to continue business." Sales Rep Mike took us to see the Car, I immediately noticed 2 different spots of scratched/chipped paint on the hood. There was a "Sold" sign hanging from the rear view mirror. I say to Mike "So is it sold? I thought you said it was available" Mike replies "It was but the person didn't want it." We walked around to the passenger quarter panel/door. I pointed out the plastic door handle and quarter panel fender were both horribly faded and discolored and there was White Over Spray Paint all on the passenger side quarter panel and door/door handle. It was a bit dark and Mike replies "Nahh it's just dust. I reply "No, it's paint." and rub my hand over it, (while shining a light for clarity) then Mike rubs it too and Mike says "Oh yeah it is". I turn to my friend and say "The Manager (Edwin) wants you to pay sticker price for this!? The car should come clean from the factory then. 😡 Let's leave!" As we walked out I saw Mike shaking his head to the Manager Edwin, telling him the incident. BEWARE buying a so called "New" 2021 Black Wrangler Unlimited Willys that will be repainted, covered up in house, and probably labeled Factory New for some other poor soul to pay MSRP plus taxes. I only wish I took photos of that Jeep before walking out with such disgust. MSRP plus taxes for an alleged "NEW" car that NEEDS to be cosmetically repaired in multiple areas (so no longer new) to be brought back to Like New Status. What a joke. More

Bayside Chrysler is the best dealership I've dealt with. That's why I've gotten 5 cars from them. They always come through. I had to get a car during the height of the pandemic 9/20.
