Had an issue with the a/c in my 2015 Equinox, so i called the dealership to get an appointment. I wanted to get it in on a Monday so that it would hopefully get done by Thursday since we were leaving for out the dealership to get an appointment. I wanted to get it in on a Monday so that it would hopefully get done by Thursday since we were leaving for out of town on Friday. Got my appt scheduled for the following Monday (approximately a week later). Brought the vehicle in on that Monday for my 7:45 appt. and discussed what the symptoms were with the a/c issue and what steps I had taken. Also added an oil change to the service request. Ticket was written up and signed. I was then told that they would get back to me within 48 to 72 hours with a diagnosis. I guess it was my mistake for not stressing that we needed the car for our Friday departure By Thursday morning we still had not received a call back with the diagnosis. I called and asked for our service rep and was told he was with a customer and that they would have him call me back. By noon I had still not received a call so I called back and was told the same thing. At about 3:00 I called back and again was told that he was with a customer. I told the operator that I the car went in for service on Monday morning and it was now Thursday afternoon and that I still did not have a diagnosis. After a short time my rep came on the phone with a diagnosis. Needless to say that the car would not be ready for us to use for our trip. I would like to know why they had me bring the vehicle in on Monday if they could not diagnose the problem until Thursday afternoon? I have purchased two vehicles here and the buying experience was great, I have no problem with the service of the vehicle - the a/c works fine now.
