Mike and Hope gave me a killer deal on the exact car I wanted. It was fully certified, with the exact options I wanted, and it was in absolutely perfect condition. And, I had my own financing lined up from my credit union with very profitable arbitrage dynamics. Or so I thought the funds were ready to transfer. Long story short I underestimated the amount of paperwork and bureaucracy involved and I overestimated my ability to navigate it all without help. It took over a week to discover that I failed to fill one form properly and it was going take another week to send the check. My killer deal was about to disappear.
