First, as the owner of Certified Benz & Beemer, I appreciate the feedback above. For some clarity, in this case, the customer changed his mind the day after purchasing the vehicle and did not take delivery of the vehicle. The customer requested that the sales transaction be rescinded on a Friday. Numerous attempts were made by representatives of Certified Benz & Beemer to reach the customer about the vehicle over the weekend but we were unsuccessful. When I received an email from the customer on Monday, I personally contacted the customer in an attempt resolve any outstanding issues regarding the vehicle. When the customer reaffirmed that he did not want to go forward with the transaction, I agreed to rescind the sale and refunded his down payment.

The response simply isn't true. We went to Certified with the intention to purchase two vehicles. I, a cash buyer, and my son who makes six figures with a credit rating over 800. The issues was misrepresentation, fabrications, and the dealer's failures on may fronts which left questions in our minds. The original sales person I contacted with regard to a purchase left within a few days of my inquiry and no one followed up. The small deposit was only refunded when I wrote a letter with the proper legal language to both Bank of America fraud department and sent a separate letter to Jack Schneider, owner of CBB. Upon receipt of my letter Mr. Schneider called my son and stated that I "bullied" the dealer with the letters to BofA and to the owner of Certified Benz and Beemer. They have some very nice vehicles. Think of how bumbling they have to be to lose two sales due to ineptitude. My son has purchased elsewhere, and I found what I wanted from a private party.

Sorry but you cannot undo an unprofessional buying experience. I stand by my review as I want others to be cautious in dealing with a dealer who conducts business as you do. While I have referred other buyers to your dealership I will be hesitant to do so in the future. Perhaps you will consider this as constructive...but I think not.

I want to expand my response to you. My name is Ralph Law and I have no need to hide that fact. If you wish to have contact with me I suggest you write me at 3128 Park Avenue, Soquel, CA 95073. That way there is an audit trail of our communications. From the experience that I shared with my son at your dealership I consider your conduct and that of your sales rep to be nearly criminal of nature...especially that of suggesting we commit insurance fraud after purchase. CBB represent all that is vile and unprofessional about car dealerships. I found it quite entertaining that your owner, upon calling my son, following your personal tirade of unprofessional phone calls and threats...chose to focus on what Jack Schneider referred to as bullying your dealership. Know the legal language is being informed and hardly bullying. A better course of action for your owner would have been to address the matter and take responsibility. By shifting blame to me you simply confirmed to my son and everyone I come in contact with that CBB should be avoided like the plague.

Lee - I have given CBB more than enough opportunities to address my concerns. It is the same story over and over again. When I had the tire issue with the car, two times I called to speak with Jack. Of course he wasn't available, so I left two messages and never received a call from him. I am real tired of being told the car is fixed and it isn't. How many times do I have to keep wasting my time bringing the car back to CBB, and it doesn't get fixed. For the most recent instance, I have it in writing that the white/blue smoke problem has been fixed - yet is has not been fixed. Frankly, at this point, about the only thing CBB can do to rectify this situation is buy back the car. Apparently your mechanics are incapable of reparing the car. I'm not interested in dealing with anyone else at CBB but the owner. If he is serious about trying to do the right thing, he can call me. I can be reached at 480-599-7635. Until I hear from him sirectly, my review will stay, and my attorney will continue to draft the legal paperword for my lawsuit.
