Start here! Safe yourself days of headaches. James (sales), Joe (manager), and Rich (finance) are a cut above the rest. The sales process was better than the oth Safe yourself days of headaches. James (sales), Joe (manager), and Rich (finance) are a cut above the rest. The sales process was better than the other seven dealerships I worked with. So safe yourself time and start with KG Subaru in Wickliffe. Here’s additional context: I started looking at Toyotas but came away unimpressed with the vehicles and the dealership I visited. It was almost as if no one really cared to sell cares. Then I moved on to Hondas (had an Odyssey). I visited one dealership (hardcore selling tactics) and emailed two others. The dealership I visited didn’t seem to care much about me after I walked out the doors. They weren’t eager to return my communication or work with me on any figures. It felt like they just wanted to find the folks willing to do a fast deal as opposed to helping folks find the right deal (with add ons in the quotes, which weren’t asked for). The other two that I dealt with solely through email came off as highly unprofessional (I get that email isn’t a preferred method for car dealers, but with work, I needed to rely on it). On to Subaru. Maybe it was just coincidence, but I dealt with three dealerships and all were better than the other manufacturers. After I already had a great deal in place at another dealership, I took a last minute chance on Ken Ganley in Wickliffe (through email). James dealt with me through email. Finally, someone that could effectively communicate and someone that seemed courteous and respectful. Eventually, I also emailed with Joe, who asked me to call. I hesitated as I was swamped at work and really was at my limit in dealing with the pushy sales tactics of ‘managers’. However, I took a chance and am so glad I did! We each talked through the numbers that we came to and within seconds, settled on a great price! I was at the dealership in 30 minutes, a little worried the hospitality would have ended over the phone, but James was awesome walking me through everything and having the car ready to go! Rich was great with the financing and Joe was just as great in person as he was over the phone. Oh, and they gave me what I needed to make a trade in work! Icing on the cake! Thanks KG Subaru of Wickliffe! You earned a repeat customer! More
