Overall a good experience My only complaint would be that for the second time, the pick up process was a bit of a nightmare--even though it wasn't crowded when I arrived, and My only complaint would be that for the second time, the pick up process was a bit of a nightmare--even though it wasn't crowded when I arrived, and I had sent a text in advance of my arriving, it took over 20 minutes to find/deliver the car. Unclear Expectations My interaction started out on the wrong foot as I thought I had booked an annual tune up but wasn't yet eligible until mid-October due to my low milea My interaction started out on the wrong foot as I thought I had booked an annual tune up but wasn't yet eligible until mid-October due to my low mileage and timing from the last tune up. I took a day off from my busy work at Harvard University to get the car inspected. I could have done that across the street from my house at a gas station. It wasn't clear to me when I was alerted to make an appointment that it was for an inspection. Now I will have to come back next month again for the tune up. I know I was frustrated but didn't feel like it mattered that much when I expressed it. I know it wasn't James' fault that this happened either but my life is very scheduled and busy and I wasted a day off for an inspection. More

Things never go smoothly Communication around repairs wasn't very good. They did some work that I declined. They said they'd cover the cost of the unauthorized, which is good. Communication around repairs wasn't very good. They did some work that I declined. They said they'd cover the cost of the unauthorized, which is good. But when I arrived, there was no record of this. Someone emerged from an office and said they would indeed cover it. So I got a free oil change, which is nice, but it feels a bit disorganized. Also, it often takes a very long time for the valets to get my car, like 30 minutes. Amazingly enough, sometimes it takes even longer than that. Note that in that amount of time, I can drive that far to competing dealers. More

James is the worest worker there Look Guys, I called one day asking about service, and someone called James took my call and was talking to me as I'm not a customer. He was say to me Look Guys, I called one day asking about service, and someone called James took my call and was talking to me as I'm not a customer. He was say to me Sir you can't bit a house over the phone and when I started to answer , he said sir let me talk, then I lost my tamper and I raised my voice saying, Noooooo. I'm the customer, I'm calling to listen to my issue and try to solve it....it seemed like he didn't have the minimum skilss of customer service. I really like the sales guys and the general manager there. All of them are great except this guy, I don't know what problem he has. More

SERVICE MANAGERS The service department is a disaster. The service manager, James Gibbons, is unhelpful. He is also condescending, arrogant, and rude. I have had to go there due to the recalls on my BMW 330XI. Otherwise, I use an independent service shop where "condescending, arrogant, and rude" are not descriptive. Well done, James! Now I have another good story to tell regarding not only the incompetence of the Service Departments MANAGERS but also how Herb seems to employ only real schmucks (look up the origin and use that) who check their ethics at the door.
