Damaged my car and repaired with velcro The dealership was working on my bmw i8 and called me to let me know it was ready for pickup. After a month of working on it they scratched the rear fender. They said they would repair it and once it was complete they called me back to pick it up. When I came back, both front fenders wweee scraped and the windshield was cracked all the way across. They agreed to repair it and when I came back again the car had been put back together with VELCRO! I still have a damaged vehicle after my car has spent two full months at the dealership. I called multiple times requesting to speak to the service manager and throughout the entire two month ordeal never heard back from them. More

READ THIS BEFORE YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!! My car is a 2012 BMW XS with 140,000 miles on it. The drive belt on my car broke on May 30, 2018 after six years and 140,000 miles. I took my car to H My car is a 2012 BMW XS with 140,000 miles on it. The drive belt on my car broke on May 30, 2018 after six years and 140,000 miles. I took my car to Herb Chabers BMW of Boston and had the belt and tensioner replaced. While on a work trip last week in Upstate New York the belt broke again on July 5 and was towed to Keeler BMW located at 1111 T roy-Schenedady Rd Rte 7, Latham, NY 12110. The drive belt was ejected and ingested through the front main seal of the engine after only being drive 34 days and 2,200 miles from the date it was repaired. The engined now needs to be replaced. Keeler inspected the vehide and determined that there was no evidence of a parts failure, and further indicated that Herb Chambers BMW improperly installed it. I've also contacted BMW North America regarding this matter and they have determined Herb Chambers is responsible for the damage and any repairs necessary. I have tried resolving this the directly with Herb Chambers and they are refusing to assist me with getting my car fixed. I'm now pursuing recourse under 93A, the MA Consumer Protection Law and have contact the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office. More

Above and Beyond James made it clear from the get-go that he was committed to solving the issues. He also has a very close relationship with my warranty company, and w James made it clear from the get-go that he was committed to solving the issues. He also has a very close relationship with my warranty company, and worked with them to cover repairs that it probably would not have been covered otherwise. He is responsive, empathetic, kind, and goes above and beyond at his job. He is absolutely one-of-a-kind, and I understand why he is in such demand, because it's hard to find people like him who care so much. He is truly amazing, and if you have the opportunity to work with him, you are in for a treat. His kindness understanding, and empathy as a human being, sets him apart from others, and he is truly the type of employee that BMW needs and deserves to attract people who are my age. As a young person, this type of customer service is incredibly impactful, and it makes the difference between a customer and someone who go somewhere else. I will never take my vehicle to another service location, simply because I value James, I value his integrity, and I value his work ethic. He cares about me, and even though this is something that he does everyday, he never forgets that each individual car is a part of someone's life. And that is truly what makes the difference. He is amazing, hand I hope that he goes very far. BMW, if you ever read this, please give him a shout out. This man deserves the world, he has better in your organization and generated revenue and repeat customers selflessly hand without fail, and he is the type of person they you need better your business, and To grow. James is the one, James has the vision, and James has the understanding of the industry, to really make a profound difference on all the lives that he touches. You are lucky to have him as an employee, I am lucky to have him as a service advisor, and I really hope that you realize what a valuable contrubitouoin he makes to your organization; James brightens the day of everyone, he shows empathy and compassion and understanding, have realizes that every situation is different. In all, he recognizes that humanity of everyone else, and people appreciate that. I will never buy another vehicle from a dealer other than this, and I will never have another service of visor other than James. Yes changed my outlook on the brand, and you are beyond lucky to have him. More

Not only does he get done what is initially requested, but goes beyond and deals with issues that may have been missed or may come up in the future. Consistently great James Gibbons helped me out the last few times I have had to bring my car in. The guy is very easy to work with. This time around, he worked proactively to prepare a proposal that exceeded my expectations and helped me decide on leasing. We customized the car and I picked it up just two weeks later. Service: I'd like to thank James Gibbons who has been my service advisor on multiple occasions doing an exceptional job in servicing my 2012 X5. From check-in to check-out, everyone is doing a phenomenal job (valet, receptionist, loaner service, service advisor, etc.). The lounge area is very comfortable should you choose to wait, or opt-in for courtesy shuttle drop-off or book a loaner in advance, many options are available to ensure customers like myself are happy with the whole experience. I am now the proud owner of 2016 X5 and looking forward to the enjoyable service appointments. More
