Jeff and Jared were both very helpful and NOT pushy, and NOT taking a lot of my time. I primary reason for coming in was to have an oil change. However the service tech noticed that the frame rails on my truck were rotted through. I'm quite puzzled since this problem has never been brought to my attention. My 2010 truck has not been to any other dealer or shop. I have always brought my truck to Falmouth Toyota where I feel that my vehicle was always being inspected when it was on the lift. After learning of the problem I quickly went over to Ken Collings whom I have worked with before. We secured the Tacoma that was available and with the assistance of Jared in the finance departmentI drove home that truck that very day.I am very pleased with the way the day worked out and the truck I purchased. I received the email on a Friday evening, which includes recent additions to the Falmouth Toyota lot. I saw the 2012 Venza for a reasonable price. I contacted their Online Sales agent, Derek, to schedule a recent additions to the Falmouth Toyota lot. I saw the 2012 Venza for a reasonable price. I contacted their Online Sales agent, Derek, to schedule a test drive on Monday. Derek responded early Sunday morning asking what time would be best. Derek set a 1pm meeting with Maria. After the test drive I was convinced that it was a good value. Maria convinced me to leave a deposit. I had brought $1k in cash to show my commitment. As a USED car over 10yrs, there were not a lot of opportunities for bank loans. The Finance Mgr worked the numbers. A 4yr loan, less than 10% interest with a substantial down payment. They coordinated with my Insurance Agent and sent a Runner with my military DD214 documents and had VETERANS plates in three (3) days. I now have over 600 miles and waited a few weeks before posting this feedback. There were zero negotiations regarding the price. Truth be told, it was a reasonable price. I did take a 2nd test drive before signing papers. Needed to see if the 110lb Giant Schnauzer fit. Maria was very helpful in getting a trailer hitch mounted as part of the purchase for my Ebike rack. Connected with Mike on that matter via email. Texting with Maria was convenient and helped keep the process on track. Thanks Matt Murphy for a good team effort. More
