There’s a reason why this is my third Subaru Outback Touring XT, it’s because the vehicle fits my needs and is at the top of the list of safest vehicles on the road, add to that a very professional deal Touring XT, it’s because the vehicle fits my needs and is at the top of the list of safest vehicles on the road, add to that a very professional dealership, clean, relaxing, comfortable, then the icing on the top is being able to spend time shopping with a new friend Marcos Gomez, Marcos listened to my needs, desires and challenges, and he walked me through the process leaving no questions unanswered, not one time did I ever feel pressured to buy now, or lose the deal, I made my deal and my offer was never challenged or turned down, never once did I get the let me check with my manager routine, no back and forth negotiation, I told him what I wanted, and what payment I was comfortable with, and that’s what I got, Marcos believed me, and trusted him to get where I needed to be, win win for all of us, Subaru, Marcos and myself. James Menzie, my sales rep, was exceptional. No pressure, just honest observations and opinions. The process was not rushed. Car was ready with all accessories. I had the wonderful experience of working with Zach Gaskill to purchase my 2025 Forester, in December 2025, I was so pleased with his professionalism, knowledge and care to the process, I could not hav Gaskill to purchase my 2025 Forester, in December 2025, I was so pleased with his professionalism, knowledge and care to the process, I could not have been above and beyond happy with my experience. John Frisby handled the financial portion of the purchase and I quickly felt as if I was sitting with my brother at a family gathering. Then, one month later, I had the unfortunate situation that I was involved in an accident with that Forester that I loved so much. This is the part of the story where the Don Mealy Sport Subaru showed their deep commitment to their community. I contacted Zach to let him know what happened and he went right into action. Within an hour he sent me multiple choices of new vehicles but the outstanding part of this story is that Zach drove 1.5 hours to pick me up and bring me back to the dealership to process getting me into a new vehicle. I worked with John Frisby again with this new vehicle, he understood the position I was in trying to figure out my situation and used all of his expertise to get me the most manageable deal, he also showed above and beyond commitment, he even said “we treat are family right” and that was apparent. Zach’s boss Jarod and a few other members of this team just came by to inquire how I was after such a horrible experience. I cannot begin to put into words how valued I felt and I knew their kindness and concern was genuine. I hope all of the North, central Florida area reads this message, the folks at Don Mealy Sport Subaru are the real deal, I would recommend everyone to go there for a vehicle. You will not be disappointed. It is so refreshing to have an organization treat people the right way. I’m forever grateful, thankful and will be a lifelong customer. Gwen More
